Song I suggest: Youth- Daughter <3
"Hey. I'm Clay." The dirty blonde said to the shorter brunette.
George stood there for what seemed like hours admiring the dirty blondes' every feature. His freckles, his soft, wavy hair, his lips, and just everything. George had gotten really red, and he knew it. He had only bumped into Clay before, only saying "S-Sorry!" before running off, but this time, Clay was 'willingly' talking to him.
"Hello?" Clay asked. "Are you okay, you're kinda staring off in space there."
"Hey! I'm George." The brunette finally pushed out. "Sorry, I was just confused for a second."
Clay laughed awkwardly. It made him uncomfortable that the brunette, known as George liked him. Clay was straight, George was not. 'Why did i do this..' Clay had muttered to himself.
"Nice to meet you George. Anyways, i was coming over here to ask if you and your friends wanted to come to my party tomorrow," Clay spit out.
He felt weird asking some random guy to come to his party. No one really knows who George is anyways. What's the point?
"I would love to.. but i'm not really a party perso-," George said before being cut off.
"Come on George! It'll be fun. It's not like you have to drink, or talk to other people. Have some fun. Loosen up dude!" Alex said convincingly.
Clay stood there awkwardly waiting for an answer. He looked at the shorter boy in front of him, trying to see what he looks like well enough to recognize him the next day.
"Well, i guess we're coming," George laughed.
It was clear George didn't want to, but his friends surely wanted to come. Clay handed George his phone. The contacts app was open. George was confused. Was he asking for his number?
"Put your number in my phone, so i can send you the address to the party." Clay said hesitantly.
George put his number in. Then he added his name. 'george :)". He handed the taller boy his phone back. He was nervous. George didn't know a lot of people. Party games are just worse than anything to him. He would probably embarrass him within the first 5 minutes of the party! Clay looked at the face beside george's name. He left it there, just to seem like he didn't mind.
"See you tomorrow... George." Clay spoke as he began to walk away.
George turned back around to see his friends with their mouths wide open. He still felt the heat on his face, being around the most popular guy like that would make anybody red.
"You just got Clay Taken's number!" Karl screeched. He had gotten a few glares from others around him. Karl toned it down a little because he didn't want to cause a scene.
"I know Karl, but it's just for the party," George sighed. He wish Clay had any kind of feelings towards him. It would never happen. Only in his dreams.
Sapnap snickered as Clay came back over to him. He was just trying to help get the nerd of his best friends back, but Clay looked embarrassed for talking to someone like that. Let alone inviting him to his party.
George was wondering how all of that happened in about 20 minutes. At 8 in the morning. The bell rang, telling everyone to head to their first periods. Lucky for George, someone he knew was in his first period. It wasn't Alex, Karl, Bad, or anyone else, it was Clay. He had gotten to class a little later than everyone else. It was biology, and he hated it so much. By the time he had gotten to class, the only open seat was across from Clay.
"Great," George muttered to himself.
George sat down, and threw his bag onto the floor. The teacher began to introduce herself and tell the class what they'd learn this year. The basics, obviously. George started to stare off into space again. He began to admire Clay even more. This time he wasn't making eye contact, so it wasn't as awkward as last time it had happened.
"Excuse me," George heard the teacher yell. He ignored her though, and assumed it was towards someone else. He was wrong.
"Blue hoodie! Hello?" she continued. George locked eyes with Clay as he had turned to look at George.
"I know it's the first day of school, and you're probably tired, but you'll need to know this stuff to graduate. Pay more attention please." she blabbered. This class wasn't going to be any help for what George wanted to do after high school.
The class snickered. Everyone also knew that this class was pointless, but it was still funny. The whole class had seen George stare at Clay during the class period. Finally George slouched in his seat and somewhat listened to what she was saying.
Finally it was over. He had the rest of his classes with at least one of his friends. Either Karl or Alex, and his class after lunch was with both of them. The rest of the day had gone by super fast. Next thing he knew, they were outside and discussing on who's house they were going to later. They settled on Alex's. His parents were never home anyways.
Hanging out at Alex's was nothing special. Just yelling about the idiots of teachers they had this year, and overall talking about their day. George's day was definitely the worst of the group. Karl and Alex just didn't want to be at school.
About two hours later, George gets a 'come home' text from his mom.
"Alright guys, i'm going to head home. My mom texted me." George told his friends.
"Have fun," Karl said. "Don't forget about the party tomorrow."
George walked out the door and got in his car. Of course Karl had to remind him about the party. George hated parties so much. It made him sick to his stomach thinking about it. Then he thought about something. Even though he would never have a chance with Clay, he'd still go. For him. This could be his chance to get closer with him. Maybe even be friends.
"What am i thinking?" George asked himself. "I'd never have a chance to even be friends with him."
George arrived home. He skipped dinner that night. It wouldn't be the first time. He hated dealing with his sibling. All of them were in Middle school or younger. There were 5 including him. The amount didn't bother him at all, but them personally bothered him so much. George was the oldest, so he was always asked things, getting his stuff looked through, and everything else that would bother the oldest siblings.
George then made his way to his room, and laid in his bed. He felt a buzz in his pocket. It was Clay.
Clay?
hey it's Clay btw.
George :))
hey!!
seenGeorge didn't know what else to say. He didn't want to say anything to much considering the only reason he had Clay's number is for the party. He was left on seen anyways. George changed into comfier clothing and laid in his bed. So many thoughts were running through his head. The main thought was the party. George tried to clear his mind and set his alarms for the following morning.
Eventually, he drifted off to sleep.
