Mark's been away for about a year now. He decided to join the army because he knew he was better than a video gamer. He knew that he inspired and helped people, and so he wanted to do an honor to those people, by protecting their lives. I am a bit worried though. Mark wouldn't write me back and we promised each other that we would write to each other every month. I sometimes cry myself to sleep and I get so worried.
March 13th is when Mark would arrive which was tomorrow. I call up Wade and Bob to see if they can come to Cincinnati for a welcome-back party. "Sure I'll come. Can't miss the day my best friend comes home." Wade says. "Mark's coming home??? Of course I'll be there!!" Bob says. I plan everything out and go to sleep and hope that Mark will come home.
I wake up all excited yet scared. I get a letter from the mail and it's from Mark.

I'm sorry if I haven't been writing to you. I had no time to write because of constant battles. I will be coming home today so don't worry. I'm so sorry for all the worries I've given you for not writing back. I love you, Beautiful. See you today.

I cry tears of joy and get all jumpy. A few hours later Mark's family comes. "I bet you're happy, huh Y/N?" Thomas says. "Yes I am!!" I reply. After 20 minutes Bob and Wade come with their girlfriends. I give them the warmest hug and welcome them in.
M: 5 mins away. :)
Mark texted me. "Hes five minutes away guys! Lets get into our spots." It was a suprise party to add a little pizazz when Mark comes home. I decided to not hide and act like I did nothing all day.
The door gets a knock and I swing it open immediately. "MARK!!!" I yell in excitement and jump and hug him. He spins me around and says "I've missed you so much." "I missed you too!" I say and notice myself crying. I see Mark crying too. "SUPRISE!!" everybody yelled. "Oh my God, Y/N you didnt have to." "No Mark you deserve it."
Long story short the party went swell. Aaron (Yamimash) came to the party which suprised everyone, especially me. I walk to the bedroom and flop down on the bed. Mark joins me minutes after. "I had a great time." "Me too." I reply. "Thank you again." He said while kissing my forehead. "Night beatiful." Mark said "Night blacksmith." I said while putting my hand on his chest and snuggling against him.
