i watched as the police dragged my father out of the room. my mom stood in the corner, shaking like a leaf. jackson and i stood next to each other awkwardly.

"well... i should get going-" jackson said before i cut him off.

"wait! we should.. hang out or something... i really don't wanna be alone right now..." i said, looking down.

"oh... sure! we can go the park if you want." jackson said. i saw that he was holding out his hand which confused me, but nonetheless i took it and not even a second later he dragged me out of the shitty apartment complex and we were now walking to the park, hand in hand... this all feels like a dream...

"ugh where is he.." i whispered to myself, hearing footsteps in the distance.

"tommy?" i said, looking behind me. i saw two figures, they seemed to be holding hands. one of them was very tall, and one was very short.

"h-hello?" i walked closer to the figures, i heard my voice get shaky and my hands got clammy in my pockets.

"y/n?" a familiar voice came from one of the figures. as they both got closer i could see that it was jackson and.. the other kid from detention?

"jackson! and.. i'm sorry i never caught your name."

"jamie."

"ahh! yes! i'm supposed to be meeting tommy here but he doesn't seem to be showing up anytime s-"

i felt a pair of hands squeeze my shoulders, my fight or flight instinct kicked in and i grabbed one of the hands and twisted it around, now i was facing... fucking tommy.

"hey! that hurts!" he said, i let go of his arm and rolled my eyes.

"fucking idiot." i said, smacking the back of his head.

i watched him roll his eyes and drag me over to a bench.

"you really need to stop doing th-" i got cut off by his lips meeting mine. it felt like my mind went blank and the whole world around us disappeared.. it was just us in that moment, no one to interrupt... until-

"tommy? y/n? what are you doing?"
