The testing of our fates (A Ninjago fan-fiction)

A series of events

'Ugh can I go anywhere without a large crowd following me?' Kai thought as a posse of girls crowded him on the way to lunch. Kai played how he always did though and sent them his signature wink causing most of them to squeal and faint.

Kai smiled to himself while walking into the cafeteria. The room (like always) was packed entirely with students. There were girls and guys flirting, making out, eating, talking, laughing, bullying, etc.

He got in the lunch line that had to be at least half the school long. After what felt like hours later, Kai grabbed his food and walked to his table. He was accompanied by Lloyd, Cole, Griffin Turner, Shade, Camille, Tox, Sami (Ugh) and Harumi. In the school, there were two different types of popular groups. Group #1 were the top ones and group #2 were the seconds. (Including Kai)

High school made legit no sense in general so Kai didn't mind being in the second group. "Hiiiiiii Kaiboo." Squealed Sami in a singsong voice. Kai winked and smiled handsomely causing Sami to daze into her love trance. "I thought you weren't dating." Said Cole.
'We aren't.' Mouthed Kai and Cole made an 'o' shape with his mouth silently. "Then why-." Cole was cut off as Kai sent a group of girls his signature wink that sent them ballistic.

"Kaiboo there's two more people who will be sitting with us today if you don't mind." Said Sami while typing on her phone, not making any eye contact. "Who?" Questioned Cole curiously. Again, Sami spoke while keeping her eyes on her phone screen. "My other friend and her boyfriend." Is all she said while smacking her gum annoyingly.

"Hey y'all." Said a voice. Kai looked up to see the same red head from earlier. She was wearing an orange crop top with ripped black jeans. Sunglasses were hanging on top of her head and she had a tattoo on her shoulder. Kai was transfixed as Sami greeted her. "Sky! Come sit!" She squealed excitedly and motioning to the spot beside her. "Guys this is my boyfriend." Skylor spoke pointing to the boy who sat beside her.

Kai almost spat out his drink.

Sitting next to Skylor was none other than the raven black haired jerk, Morro. "Hey everyone." He said. Kai only glared in response. "Kai! Dear buddy how are you?" He asked trying to be innocent. "Don't 'hey buddy' me." Kai replied with venom spiking his words. Morro only shrugged and kissed Skylor's forehead.

"So...." started Lloyd, trying to break the tension. "Test in Mrs. Garmadon's class. How'd y'all do?" He asked awkwardly. "Ugh she hates me." Squeaked Sami annoyingly smacking her gum. "I got a 20!" She complained. "No surprise there." Lloyd whispered to Cole and Kai and the three boys chuckled silently.

"Well then Mr. 'I'm such a big know it all', what did you get?" Sami asked while putting her hands on her hips. "A 100." Lloyd said with a smirk. Sami rolled her eyes and excused herself to the restroom as the others broke into a severe storm of laughter.

After a good 30 minutes of laughing

"So Morro." Kai started. "Whatever are you doing over here at a two's table?" Kai asked mockingly. "Are you blind? My girlfriend is over here." Morro said with a sharp, cold glare thrown at Kai. "Why not bring her to your table then?" Kai scoffed rudely. "A one doesn't need to be hanging around with a bunch of us."

Morro growled angrily and pulled Skylor to her feet and stormed off with Skylor glancing back at Harumi in a 'help me' manner. Harumi only shrugged as if to say, 'your fault for dating him'.

"Can you do that every day?" Asked Griffin excitedly. "This was rare." Chuckled Kai. "But yes, if he dares to mess with any of you, he's going to have to come through me." Kai said gesturing to himself. "Amazing isn't he?" Asked Sami blissfully, coming back from her little 'break' to the bathroom. "Oh yeah he's great." Replied Nya out of nowhere, prancing over to the table and hugging Kai around the neck. "Hey sis." Kai greeted his sister while taking a sip of Coke.
"I got accepted." Said Nya and Kai spat his drink out immediately and apologized over and over again to Shade who was the unfortunate victim of Kai's blow.
