Chapter Six

I was playing with Ace's daughter in the garden that was behind the spaceman's house, and then we heard someone whisper behind us.

"Grab her".

I changed into my animal and attacked the men, but one of them hit across the head with a baseball and before I knew it, I was falling to the ground.

Ace's daughter was screaming loudly.

A few minutes later, I woke up to find myself tied up to a hospital bed.

Ace's daughter was blind folded and she was tied up against a wall.

I used my k-9's to break the ropes that were tied around my knees and free myself.

"I'm going to untie you, keep quiet until we get outta this place, okay"?

I whispered, picking up a piece of broken glass that I found on the floor.

The little girl fearfully nodded her head obediently.

Once I freed Ace's daughter, I picked her up in my arms and carried her out of the abandoned hospital.

We ran for our lives and then we decided to go hide in the woods.

When we found a cave, I crawled underneath to check and make sure that there were no bears living inside.

Ace's daughter was crying her heart out as she held onto me.

I nuzzled her cheek, knowing that she was scared.

Then, we both heard strange voices in the distance.

"Damn it, they escaped"!

"How the hell did they managed to do that"?!

One of the bad guys had a flashlight and a tracking device.

I knew that my scent was strong, so I sprayed some bear urine on my fur so they wouldn't find us.

Finally, the men decided to give up and they left the woods in a helicopter.

Once I checked to see if there was anymore danger, I led Ace's daughter out of the cave.

"Your daddy and the other guys will be looking for us. Let's try to find our way out of the woods and back to KISSWorld".

I smiled, and the small child nodded her head without saying a word.
