Twenty Four: Winged Child

It's spring. The cherry blossoms trees had bloomed beautifully in the school's fields and sidewalks as the students are so in love with each other walked hand in hand as they depart and arrive at the school's gate.

Momo scoffed at the scenes she saw outside. She rolled her eyes and looked at her professor teaching the unit they're in. She looked around more and saw Jeongyeon paying attention and taking notes as usual. Wendy had fallen asleep at the back. Jihyo is as usual, reciting and interacting with the professor. Nayeon is using her phone. Sana is who is sitting in front of her is zoning out.

Momo sat back to her chair and looked at the classroom ceiling thinking about skipping the rest of the day. She's atill deciding when someone tapped her on the head. It was Mina.

Momo felt her heart jump a little when Mina hovered her face with hers, releasing that smile Momo loves. Mina's blonde hair fell of off Momo's face softly, Momo didn't care tho. If there's one thing Momo should care about is it's her face turning brightly red and her heart almost jumping out of her chest.

"W-what is it?" Momo asked, trying so hard to avoid Mina's eyes.

"Hah, what are you so shy about?" Mina smirked.

"I'm not shy. What is it?" Momo raised an eyebrow on Mina.

"I want ice cream. Treat me." The latter said.

"Okay? After class." It's unusual for Mina so ask anyone for something so it's unfamiliar to Momo because for Mina, if she eagerly wants something, she gets it. Sometimes she buys the whole store when she finds something in cute in the store.

"I want it now." Mina held Momo's cheeks with both of her hands, looking intensely in Momo's eyes. "I said, I want it now."

Momo's heart rate rapidly beats. It's so unusual for Mina to act childish because she always wears her glam and royalty aura 24/7. Looking back at it, Momo has noticed Mina speaking and interacting wth her more often than usual.

"D-damn. Okay, okay." Momo held Mina's hands to take it off of her face and God knows how much it impacted Momo's heart rate.

Her hands are so soft, what the fuck.

Mina sat down on her seat, pouting. Momo looked back at her, "Wanna skip the rest of the day then?"

The rest of the squad looked at them. Jeongyeon threw her pen at Momo, "Yah, include us too."

"Yeah. That teacher has been talking about the same thing for the past 45 minutes." Nayeon rolled her eyes as she puts her phone in her pocket before slouching back arms crossed.

"You guys do know we're gonna have an exam about this next week, right?" Jihyo warned.

"Yeah but we haven't had any fun these past months because of Irene. She has been dragging us to the mountains to train with her." Wendy pouted, acting like she's crying.

"Ugh, please. We've been stressing about how to make Kang Seulgi and her meet up too. Please, please, please. We need this." Sana said slouching on her desk.

All gave each other a glance and all nodded.

It's on.

Wendy at the back went first. She crawled quietly out to the back door. Then Sana. Then Nayeon. Then Jeongyeon. Then Jihyo. Then Mina. And then Momo.

"WOOHOOOO!" Everyone cheered as they all arrived panting at the campus' gate. It was  beautiful and a little warmer. The sun was up beautifully.
