Twenty Three: Out

The school hasn't changed of course but the youngsters did. The students all thought the same, something definitely had changed but they just can't pinpoint what it is since for them, it's only the weekends that has passed.

All gossiped about them in the hallways as the Zodiacs walk pass them.

"Omg, it's the Zodiacs!"

"Don't they look a little taller? Did they just grew over the weekend?" the other girl whispered as they referred to the Loyal Vessels, definitely not Chaeyoung.

"Omg, is that Dahyun? Now that I have the time to stare at her, she looks really pretty." Another girl whispered.

Chaeyoung smirked and scoffed. She snaked her arms around Dahyun's waist as if saying, "That's right. That's my Eve. My Eve is the prettiest."

Somewhere around the corner where the Zodiacs can't hear, a group of Alphas' eyes are all over Dahyun. Staring at her from head to toe, lusting over her as the usual.

"It's been awhile since I had a taste of her." A guy who seemed to be their leader uttered.

"I can't believe our rut came by without our toy." Another guy said.

"We need to get her before the Zodiacs claim her." The last guy said.

They evil laughed.

The olders Zodiacs felt like they were babysitting a kid. Pisces was amazed with everything she sees. Trying everything she sees and her eyes sparkling in admiration.

"Look! That's a car flying!" Pisces pointed at the plane flying over the city.

Capricorn facepalmed.

"That's called a plane, Pisces." Virgo uttered softly.

"So that's not a car? What do you use plane for then?" Pisces curiously asked.

"That's another way of transportation. It can bring you to different cities way faster and fly across the oceans to bring you to different countries." Namjoon the scorpio, said.

Pisces was just in so much awe of how much the world had changed. So many towers called buildings, the roads were much flat and no rocky roads. The carriages that were ysed for transportation back in the days  are gone and are replaced with things called busses, trains and cars... and well, planes.

Pisces looked around her and saw a familiar signage, Camera. She remembered the time when she took a a thign called, photograph on a store with her eve. It was fun. She remembered the way she smiled for the camera. The almost half an hour of waiting just for one photograph.

I want to see her once more.

"By the way, guys." Pisces uttered as the other older Zodiacs looked at her. "What is this thing called, school? The Loyal Vessels and especially Momo were calling it hell. Is it true? Do they suffer there? If they suffer there, why do they still choose to go?" Pisces asked.

Some of the older zodiacs chuckled and some facepamed. Namjoon stepped in to explain, "School is this thing where they learn.. stuff. Some of the things they learn there are useful for the future ahead of them and most of it are useless."

"What do they use it for?"

"Well in this world, money runs everything. You have money? You have power. Zodiacs are the most powerful beings but if they can't run money, they're useless in the economy. We tend to balance being powerful in every aspects and running the economy is one of them." Namjoon uttered proudly. Prideful aura came out of him.
