'Oh my god! Kai and the basketball team are back!'

'Omo! Really? Kyahhhh I wanna see them!'

Dahyun's, Mina's and Sana's ears perked hearing the news from the desperate Pure-bred omegas in the cafeteria. They glanced at the unbothered omega who is busy studying and taking notes.

'Nayeon. Nayeon' Sana whispered making Nayeon take out of her earbuds.

'Yeah?'

'Unnie, Night Deity Kai and his team are back' Dahyun uttered

'Oh, really. Good for them' Nayeon then continued writig her notes. The three looked at each other in confusion so Mina tapped Nayeon's shoulder to get her attention again.

'But Kai is pursuing you, isn't he?' Mina asked.

'Hmm. Yeah and I've rejected him many times' Nayeon shrugged.

'Aren't you worried then? It's the second week of the month' Sana pointed out.

Nayeon looked down and sighed. 'I guess I have to put up with him this week'

'Why? What's with the second week of the month, unnie?' Dahyun innocently asked.

'It's Kai's rut every second week of the month so any day this week, he'll come to Nayeon' Mina explained.

They all looked at Nayeon who's trying so hard not to get distracted but it's obvious in her face expression that she's bothered.

The Zodiacs walked through the garden of the school while Jeongyeon seem to be zoning out and looking around everywhere to find a certain person she hasn't seen all day.

'Yah, Jeong. We know who you're looking but Ima tell you now. She's a busy girl, okay? She's in the student council and this school is fucking big' Wendy patted Jeongyeon's shoulder.

'Yeah, unnie. And plus, her boyfriend's back so she's probably with him' Chaeyoung uttered.

'Boyfriend?' Jeongyeon's hearing became sharp.

'Oh, yeah. I think he's name was Kai? I heard he's a basketball player' Momo uttered

'He's Nayeon's boyfriend?' Jeongyeon asked in disbelief.

'That's what I heard' Momo answered.

'But unnie, I don't think you should involve yourself with Nayeon now that he's back' Tzuyu warned.

Jeongyeon snap her head to Tzuyu as her eyebrows raises, 'Why?'

'I heard he's a night deity' Tzuyu shrugged.

Jeongyeon's mind stopped working for a little while. She looked down and stopped walking making the other four look back at her. Wendy walked back to where Jeongyeon is and rubbed her back for comfort.

'It's okay, Jeong. Now we know that Nayeon will be a Lady Serpent soon. I mean, the students are treating her like a Lady Serpent already' Momo uttered.

Jeongyeon kept looking down when her nose suddenly sniffed a familiar scent. Jeongyeon looked up and tried to follow the scent leaving the other four confused.

'Unnie, where you going?' Chaeyoung asked as they follow the latter.

'Can't you guys smell her?' Jeongyeon desperately followed the scent that's lingering in her nose.
