Dear Marcus,

We weren't friendly, not in the slightest. I admired you though. You were an amazing quidditch player. I aspired to be like you. To be as good as you.

I rode my first broom at the age of 11 in my house. My dad told me how good I was at it and how I was a natural. Every week, I went on the broom and flied around my garden. It was a big stress relief.

When I joined Hogwarts, I spent a lot of my time in the Quidditch field, flying around in my spare time.

I remember one afternoon, you wanted to practise there but I was flying around all the hoops. You watched me for awhile until I noticed you.

"Sorry, did you wanna practise here?" I asked

"No no, it's fine. You're a pretty good flier. Are you interested in joining the Slytherin Quidditch team? We're looking for another chaser"

"Sure, I would love to!"

"Great, practise started on Thursday, lunch time at 1:00"

I was so excited to be on the Quidditch team. It gave me more of a reason to fly more, and more competitively too.

I came to tryouts at lunch time and you introduced me to the group. You told us that we are playing against Gryffindor next week so you went over strategies to beat their team. I quickly caught onto them and you were impressed.

On the day of the match, we walked out onto the field. You wish me luck and when the balls were released, I instantly caught the quaffle and sped over to the goal posts while you were looking around for the snitch, along with Harry.

I sped past the other chasers and threw the quaffle straight through the hoop. Oliver Wood tried to block it but failed.

"Lyla Black scored! 10 points to Slytherin! screamed Lee Jordan. I heard all the Slytherins cheer for me and a couple of my Gryffindor friends. I remember you flew past me and gave me a thumbs up.

I saw the Gryffindors had the quaffle so I raced towards them. Angelina Johnson got passed the quaffle and started towards the goal. I felt a little bad but I lunged at her with my broom, knocking her off and sent her flying to the ground. I had the quaffle and threw it into the hoop, scoring another 10 points.

The game went on for about 30 minutes before you saw the snitch and you and Harry rapidly raced towards it. You were slightly faster and managed to catch the golden ball in your hand, signifying the end of the game and declaring our victory.

I got awarded man of the match and got a lot of praise. You told me I did an amazing job.

After that game, we won every single one after, apart from one game against Ravenclaw when I got my arm dislocated due to a bludger.

Your 6th year and my 2nd year came along and Quidditch was really the only thing I had left, apart from potions. I was so excited to start playing again.

We had our first game against Hufflepuff and won, obviously. Being back onto the pitch made me feel alive again, something I hadn't felt in ages.

In January, people found out that Cho Chang was missing and a lot of people made rumours about me and Cho. They said I killed her and buried her body so no one could find it.

Truthfully, I did kill Cho. I was forced to.

Anyway, due to the rumours, you kicked me off the team. The only thing that made me happy was taken away from me, by you. And it was because of a stupid rumour which could've been fake.

Notice when you kicked me off the team, Slytherin started loosing every game. I guess I was the star player.

You took my last happiness away from me. It was all I had left.

I hope Slytherin lose the rest of the games when I'm gone.
