It had been roughly a month since the "incident". Boscha wasn't very happy that she had to stay here for so long, but at least she was allowed to leave today. Luz had been coming over every day, telling her about a crush. However, Luz wasn't careful enough in describing this unnamed individual, as she proceeded to name every single characteristic Boscha had ever portrayed in the time Luz had been on the Isles. Boscha noticed this but pretended not to.
Though the fact that these feelings were shared comforted her, she knew that this was not the place to confess. Not in the middle of a hospital, where anybody could see. So when she was permitted to walk out the door, she was understandably beaming. Though she knew that right now wasn't the time either, at first, she had to find somewhere to stay. Her own house was out of the question. Amity's parents probably didn't see her as "high-class" anymore, so they weren't an option either. And Willow wasn't even considered, for obvious reasons. That left only one house remaining.
The Owl House.
She'd never been there before, so she wasn't exactly sure what she was looking for, but when she saw the old run-down house with the glass window in the middle of the woods, she was pretty sure it was the place she was looking for. She walked up to the door and knocked. After about a minute or two of clattering around heard from inside, the door opened, revealing the witch that Boscha knew to be... "The owl lady!" Boscha yelped in surprise.
"Yep, that's me. Do you need something?" Eda asked, albeit slowly, as she was faced with a random child showing up at her door. Again. "Luz, how many friends do you have?" Eda yelled up the stairs, Luz emerging from a corner of the staircase. "Like, 4, why?" Luz asked in her usual upbeat and sweet tone. Boscha enjoyed listening to that voice, and she'd do it forever if she could. "Well, another child showed up, and I'm making sure you know them before I let them in," Eda yelled back.
Luz threw herself down the stairs, somehow landed on her feet, and ran towards the door. "Oh, hi Boscha!" Luz practically yelled in excitement. However, Boscha wasn't just gonna move on with her life after what just unfolded before her very eyes. "What the hell was that?" Boscha questioned, concerned for the well-being of this absolute idiot. "U u u u u u u u u h h h h -" Luz proceeded to blurt out. "Never mind then." Boscha interrupted. "I need a place to stay, so could you let me live here for now?" She asked quickly, hoping for a yes. "Well, I'd have to ask Eda, but I'm pretty sure she'll say yes!" Luz answered, to Boscha's relief.
"Good, because I cannot go back to my own house." Boscha subconsciously spat out before she realized what she just did. "Huh? Why?" Luz asked. "UUUUUUUUUH, NO REASON!" Boscha yelled before storming up the stairs into a random room. "Well okay then..." Luz sighed before going back up to her room in the house, finding Boscha already in there. "H u h ?" was the only sound to leave Boscha's mouth in this situation. "Oh. So, I guess we're roommates now!" Luz enthusiastically said, beaming from ear to ear.
Author's note: "and they were roommates."
Boscha didn't know what to think of it. What were the chances that she'd choose the room that Luz already slept in? Well, that didn't matter, because this was the greatest thing to ever happen to her. She tried very hard to figure out a response, but a "👍😃👍" was all she could muster to answer with. Her brain was going at max speed, and she turned even redder than ever before. Luz was mildly concerned, as she had no idea what was happening. Boscha managed to calm down soon enough, and just laid down on the sleeping bag to fall asleep.
Luz laid down as well, and, absentmindedly, wrapped her arms around Boscha's waist before falling asleep. Boscha then turned so red that the lack of blood in her brain made her pass out. When Luz woke up the next day, it took her a while to realize exactly what she was hugging onto in her sleep, and to her horror, that thing was Boscha. She was going to untangle her arms so that Boscha didn't know, but just then Boscha opened her eyes ad stared directly into Luz's soul.
"Thought you could just pretend this didn't happen, huh? Well, you can't because I already know what happened." She whispered to Luz with a smirk upon her face. "And anyway, it's not as if I mind that much. After all, we are friends." She added. She was playing around with Luz, making the signals unclear, and instead just waiting for Luz to make the first move. Besides, it's not as if it wasn't fun. Luz, however, was in pain to be hearing the word <friends> come out of her crush's mouth.
But Luz was determined, and quickly forgot about the interaction, instead of focusing her attention on how cute Boscha looked with her hair down. Boscha soon forgot about it as well, turning her attention to the AUDACITY of this girl, being cute and hot at the same time. She walked into the bathroom, seeing herself in the mirror, and finally getting an idea of the word on her face. "Failure" it said, in all capital letters.
It wasn't a nice message, but it wasn't as bad as she had assumed it to be. She was going to do her usual bun, but something stopped her. She realized that she'd need to change her appearance so that she wouldn't be recognized by her parents, and so she grabbed some scissors, pulled her hair back, and cut most of her hair off.
Boscha then dyed her hair Teal, hid her third eye, put an eye-patch over her blinded eye, and walked out of the bathroom.
Hi there, me again. I don't know why you keep coming back, but please continue doing that. Hope you enjoyed it, stay tuned for the next one (whenever that thing comes along), and most importantly;
Have a nice Day/Night!
