Dear Rolf,
I hope you had a good first day in Livermony, though I don't see why you would. America sucks. Anyways I had to sit next to Cedric (the bloke I told you about last time I saw you) today and for the rest of the year in potions so my day wasn't the best. Oh, but guess what? I'm going to be a quidditch announcer with another boy in my year. Hopefully you will write me back soon, OWL'S start soon enough and I have to pass a few classes if I want to become a zoologist like Father. You know, you never actually told me what you want to be when we graduate. Hope your doing well.

Love, your sister,
Sage (by the way Lucy might still have a crush on you, I can tell by the way she talks about you)

After finishing the last line of my letter, I sealed it up with the Scamander family crest stamp and got up to look around the Owlery for my own owl. Yorkie, a snow owl my brother bought for me in America, six years ago. I named him after my favorite and only city there I've ever visited. I tied the letter to Yorkie's leg and give her a treat for the road. While looking out the window and watching her fly away into the distance, I didn't notice footsteps behind me in the entrance doorframe.

"Sage?" The person said cautiously, as if trying not to scare me. I turn around to see Cedric with a potions book in his hand and a careful expression.

"I'm done with the Owlery Diggary, I'll get out of your way." I said pushing past him to go down the stairs. I've got to tell Mattie about writing my brother. She's the only one I really trust about all that stuff.

"No, er it's not that," He said hesitant, "You just left your potions book on the table. Maxine and Lucy both left by the time I even noticed it was there."

"So you were following me?" I questioned, slower turning around making my expression look angry, even though I wasn't. Yet.

"What? No, I just asked Mattie where she thought you would be, she said here." Cedric gestured around the Owlery. Of course Mattie knew I would be here. She's too smart for her own good. She should've been a Ravenclaw, if she didn't convince the hat that blue wasn't her color.

"Ok then can I have my book back?" I said taking an involuntary step closer back to the Owlery.

"I don't know, if you can ask nicely maybe." He grinned.

"Merlin Diggary, you should've just asked me on a date already," I said making my way back up the stairs towards him, I pull my body dangerously close to his. I put my lips to his ears, "It seems like your already obsessed with me."

Taking in his flustered expression as I pulled away gave me and chance to grab my book from his hands, then glide down the Owlery stairs.
