"Paimon is so full..", the floating creature sighed and gently rubbed her belly as if she was pregnant. Childe laughed while Aether shook his head, ashamed of his little friend.

Earlier, the travel-duo and Zhongli decided to go out and look for materials for Rex Lapis Funeral, since Zhongli also had a job as a funeral parlor consultant. In (y/n)'s opinion it was quite amusing to see the Geo Archon look for stuff to buy for his own funeral.

Nonetheless, Childe had to lend them Mora- quite a lot, to be exact. "It's nothing", he said and brushed it off and paid for the food as well.

"Thank you, Childe!", Paimon giggled and slowly followed Aether after leaving the luxurious restaurant. Childe grinned and waved at his friends.

"I will meet you later! Fatui things", a chuckle escaped him and he gave (y/n) a questioning look, silently asking her to follow him. She tilted her head in confusion, before she nodded and bid goodbye to Zhongli and the travellers.

"See you soon", (y/n) swiftly said and turned towards Childe to pass him a gentle smile. He happily chuckled and started to walk away, making sure that the female was following close behind.

"Is there anything you need?", (y/n) asked curiously and glanced at the back head of the Harbinger, after walking for a while.

He paused and hesitated for a moment, before slowly shaking his head. "Not really. I just.. want to ask you a few questions, that is all", the female raised a brow at the answer and waited for him to continue.

The sunlight shone through the gaps between the clouds and reflected in (y/n)'s bright eyes. They left Liyue Harbor but didn't walk too far away. Childe stopped and gestured (y/n) to sit down on a bench next to a small path.

"Your home is nearby, right?", the girl nodded and gazed at a field of sweet flowers in front of her. "It's about half an hour away from here"

Childe's gaze automatically wandered along the path, hoping to get a look at (y/n)'s house from afar. The female let out a snort at his poor attempt and smiled softly.

"Just ask your questions. I don't mind", she added reassuringly, causing the Ginger to sigh a little relieved.

He went quiet for a moment before averting his gaze to the female next to him.

"Well then..", he clapped his hands with a closed-eye smile. "Do you know where exactly they kept Rex Lapis body?"

(y/n) furrowed her brows. She expected him to ask something like that, but didn't think that he would be so straight forward about it.

A thought came into her mind. Zhongli said that he wanted to make a contract with the Tsaritsa about his Gnosis. Since Childe was a Harbinger, didn't she tell him?

It was obvious that the Gingerhead was eager to find the Gnosis of the Geo Archon, making the female squint her eyes a little.

Did he ask her so directly on purpose? Or did he think of her as naive and dumb? She sighed and shook her head, trying to get those thoughts out of her mind.

"Unfortunately, I don't", (y/n) then said thoughtfully. "I suppose that you already know that his body in the Golden House. But there are no more details", she then added hesitantly.

Childe let out a sigh and rested his chin on his hand. He didn't expect her to know anything, but he needed everything he could find to fulfill his duties as a Fatui Harbinger.

Plus, (y/n) should know that he was a bad guy, that's why he asked her so carelessly about it.

Silence filled the air as they sat next to each other, neither of them saying something.

Childe widened his eyes, suddenly remembering something. "Ah, I have been wanting to give this to you", he suddenly smiled cheekily and pulled a Cecilia out of his pocket.

The female curiously stared at the plant in his hands, taken aback at the sudden change of his mood. The flower's petals were still white and clear, it's stem green and long. It glowed in the sunlight, making the flower look magical.

(y/n)'s lips tugged into an angelic smile, making Childe feel a little proud. "Thank you, Childe"

He let out a laugh and ruffled the females hair. His long fingers ran through her soft hair, making her look at him with a surprised face at his sudden actions.

Realizing what he was doing, he blinked twice and hesitantly took his hand off her head. "My apologies"

(y/n) suppressed a laugh after a moment and chuckled, amused at his behavior, before brushing it off.

Just a few minutes later, they decided to go back to Liyue to check up on Zhongli, Aether and Paimon. Childe stretched his back after standing up from the bench and yawned.

(y/n) peeked at him and smiled at his actions. It was hard to believe that he was actually a Harbinger. A person who killed hundreds of people.

"By the way, did you go all the way to Mondstadt to get those flowers?"

He laughed awkwardly and scratched his head.

"No.. I bought them"
