Her clothes were soaked from the rain as she ran through the gates of Liyue Harbor, the scared screaming of people echoing in her head. She quickly glanced at Osial, terrified at the sight of the god. The female blinked, trying to see something through the heavy rain, and made her way to the familiar pharmacy.
The sound of waves clashing against the port filled the air, as she called out Baizhu's name in front of the building.
A small figure approached her from behind. "(y/n)..?", Qiqi's quiet voice made her sigh, relieved that the little girl was safe.
Qiqi looked at her with big eyes, not knowing what to do, and pointed behind the counter of the building.
"Baizhu.. needs help", she said soothingly, gently tugging (y/n)'s clothes. The female patted Qiqi's head with a warm smile in response and tried to find the green-haired male.
Unfortunately Baizhu suffered from a medical condition, resulting in him being physically weak compared to other men his age.
—
"(y/n)! Thank god you're here", a relieved voice caught the females attention, as she strolled through the storage room of the pharmacy.
She turned around and saw Baizhu sitting on the floor, leaning against a wall as he tried to get up at the sight of the familiar girl. He groaned in pain and shut his eyes, as he fell back on the ground again.
"Would you be so kind and help me for a moment? I tripped over some old boxes and my leg.. hurts", he breathed heavily and thankfully sighed as (y/n) helped him get up again.
She placed his left arm around her shoulder, trying her best to support him.
—
Qiqi waited for them at he entrance, silently staring at the gigantic sea monster.
The zombie slightly squinted her eyes. "Come on now Qiqi, it's dangerous", Baizhu warned her after hearing what was going on in Liyue Harbor.
He fixes his glasses with his free hand and averted his gaze to the sea, since he was locked in the storage room the whole time. His eyes widened as soon as he saw the size of the ancient god.
The rain was still pouring, causing Qiqi to hold her hands above her head as an attempt to keep her purple hair dry.
Thundering echoed, as the wind howled. The majority of the people in Liyue Harbor hid in their houses or ran away, making the place look strangely empty.
The floor was wet from the countless raindrops, as the three of them hurried towards the gate of the city; due to Baizhu's injury, they weren't able to move faster.
(y/n) felt her heart beat through her chest, as she stared at Osial. She noticed earlier that the adepti and the Qixing were gathered at the Jade Chamber, trying to figure out how to stop the sea monster from destroying Liyue Harbor.
Nonetheless, she was somehow glad that she decided to help Baizhu and Qiqi instead of going on the floating island as well; she didn't want her identity to be exposed, and without her abilities to create illusions, she was practically useless.
"I suggests we go on that mountain", (y/n) pointed her chin towards a mountain nearby, causing Baizhu to furrow his brows. She noticed his hesitation and sighed.
"Its safer than staying here. And I'm sure that Qiqi can lessen the pain of your wound". Qiqi looked up at the sound of her name, slowly nodding after processing what the older female had said.
Baizhu agreed after a few moments and tugged his lips into a small smile as Qiqi put her small hands on his injured leg to ease his pain.
"Thank you, Qiqi", he gave the zombie a thankful smile, earning a hard noticeable nod in response.
The green-haired male shortly peeked at Osial, still roaring in the background. Silently hoping that it would end soon, he stared at his hands as raindrops ran down his arm.
Baizhu slightly shivered, as he continued to walk towards the mountain (y/n) mentioned.
