Chapter 3 - the Telling

Amelia's Pov

One week later

"Hey pretty lady" I said as Arizona walked past me, "You have any plans for tonight?"

"No, you?" Arizona said.

"Nothing tonight, no. Wanna go out to dinner or something?"

"Sure! 7 work for you?" Arizona said with a smile.

" 7 Works just fine, see you then I guess," I said.

I wanted to tell Maggie and Mer about me and Arizona, but I wasn't sure what they would think of me. I know that they would most likely be supportive but some part of me felt like they wouldn't. Arizona said I could take all the time I wanted which made me feel better.

I got to the restaurant and Arizona was already there. I thought that dinner went pretty well, and we went back to Arizona's house after. We went up stairs and started making out. Arizona pushed me onto the bed and we had amazing sex.

The next morning I woke up to the sound of my alarm. Arizona wasn't there anymore and I just assumed that she got paged. There was a note on the bedside table from Arizona that she got paged. I showered and got ready for work. 

When I got there Arizona was signing discharge papers for one of her patients.

"Hey wanna come over after work today?" Arizona asked me.

"Sure, anything if it includes the hottest person on Earth," I replied back.

"You're so cute Amelia," Arizona said.

I decided to tell Maggie and Mer about me and Arizona today. Hopefully now they would stop being so nosey. I paged them into my office and told them there.

"I have some news that may be exciting to you or not. I've started dating again, surprise," I said.

"Really when can we meet him," Maggie asked.

"That's the thing, it's not a him, but it's a her. Arizona," I said.

"How long have you guys been together?!" Mer asked.

" Almost a month and a half," I replied, "But wait you guys aren't mad that I'm dating a girl?"

"No, why would we be mad? We just want you to be happy," Mer said.

"Me too," Maggie added.

"Thanks guys, I love you," I said.

Arizona's Pov

Amelia told Maggie and Mer about us and she said they were happy for her. I was glad to hear that.

A week or so later Amelia and I went out on a date. It was just a nice relaxing dinner. We went back to my place after and that's when I asked her to move in with me.
