Chapter 5 - Moving Day

Arizona's Pov

Today was the day! I'm getting discharged today! I was super excited, especially because it means Amelia can move in sooner. I was so ready to live with her.

Arizona drove me back to my place. I was ready for her to move in but she wanted to make sure I recovered a little more. After about a day or two she was finally moving in! She drove over to Mer's house to pack up all her things. I helped her unpack some of her things. She didn't want me lifting the heavy stuff which made sense because I was still slowly recovering, but I really wanted to help her.

Amelia was all moved in and it was so exciting! She had so many clothes though. It was a good thing I had a big closet.

Amelia's Pov

I had just moved into Arizona's place. It felt so good to get out of the house I was in before, I mean I love my family but living with 3 kids and two sisters was very cramped. I looked at Arizona and I think she was thinking the same thing I was. I know she was still recovering, but we just had to do it. It was my moving in gift.

I got a call from my mom, and she said she was coming into town this weekend. I haven't seen her in like 4 years. What if she didn't accept me for being bi, I mean it was my mom of course she wouldn't accept me. Arizona noticed I spaced out and said, "Amelia are you okay? Did something happen?"

"Yeah I'm fine it's just that my mom is coming into town this weekend, and I haven't seen her since I was with Owen. I don't think she will accept me for being who I am either," I said while I started to cry. My mom already hated me enough as it was. Another reason for her to hate me, great.

'It will be okay, I'm here for you Amelia. I'll protect you if anything bad happens.
