Little background information: you are currently going to high school and are a normal teenager. You live with your mom and never met your dad because apparently his job could put you in danger. You've never asked more questions because your mom starts crying everytime you bring it up.
Ugh. Another boring day at school. Great.
You walk in class and sit next to peter as usual. "I wish he'd like me back ", you think. Chemistry, the worst subject EVER.
Teacher: Hey everyone today you have a homework to do in teams of two with the person next to you. Im gonna let you the period to start.
Peter: Sooooo... my house as usual?
Y/n: Yup.
You and peter work on the project for the whole period.
Peter: Is 5pm today good for you? we can order pizza
Y/n: Who can say no to pizza?
Peter: Great its all set then!
"Homecoming is soon. I hope hes going to ask me."
Y/n: hey mom im going to peter's at 5 is that ok?
Mom: yeah no problem
Y/n: thank you!
You start thinking about your dad. You can feel the tears coming. But then, it turns into anger. Your mom who's keeping your dad from you. Your dad himself for not wanting to meet you because " his job is too dangerous". You notice your hands starting to glow. That's when it all started.
