Errō felt themselves being pulled back to reality, their eyes fluttering open. They squinted as the soft glow of the early morning sun stretched across the room and hit their face. Errō sat up rubbing their right eye groaning, vaguely surprised that they had no nightmares.

They stretched as they stood up and took in their surroundings once more. Errō sighed as they walked towards the washroom, staring at themselves in the mirror. This didn't seem real, it felt like a dream that would end any minute, and then... they'd be back, in their own multiverse, doing their job again. Back to their old routine of destroying universes and fighting Ink. A salty tear slid down Errō's face as they crumpled over on themselves, gripping the sides of the countertop to the point of it splintering. They didn't deserve this mercy that Destiny gave them; they didn't deserve any of this.

Dream opened his eyes as he felt an even stronger wave of negativity coming from presumably the same person it was just hours ago. It was honestly getting kind of concerning at this point. Why was this person so sad? Was this person in trouble? Were they being hurt- NO. He wouldn't let that happen. He won't allow someone to cause harm to another person.

Dream shot out of bed, that thought now haunting him. Clumsily grabbing his golden circlet, rushing over to his closet to pull out his jacket, shirt, and pants. Quickly fumbling to the washroom, knocking some things over in the process.

They were weak for jumping; they were weak for giving in to their own selfish desires of freedom, not caring about the painful deaths everyone would have, *the painful deaths that their family would have*. They ignored that completely.

'Ink was right, I am a monster...' Errō thought bitterly, the tears coming to a slow stop.

Errō stood up, wiping their eye dry, before gently untying the bandage wrap from their left eye; which relieved a large scar that looked very similar to the deep cracks that lined their mandible, it stretched from their jaw over their left eye and to their eyebrow, it was darker than the scar that went across their nose.

Errō cried deeply, their hand shaking a bit as they directed their attention to their other human eye, it was relatively the same as their other eye, the sclera was red and the iris it was the same bright blue as their right eye, inside their iris there was a dark blue pupil with a yellow circle around it, and finally a small black dot in the middle.
The eye looked a bit cloudy and Errō had some trouble seeing out of it.

After throwing the old bandage away, Errō opened up the codes once again to check if the small library was still for sale, breathing out relieved that it was, and they could buy it for about nine or eight gold coins. (It would add up to a few thousand dollars.) The property still had its old furniture and books, but it was a bit dirty and could use some cleaning up. So they contacted the seller saying that they were interested in buying it, and 'surprisingly' they got back to them in about seven minutes, (convenient...) telling them to just come down to the library to sign some papers, look around and get the key.

Errō rose to their feet, turning off the washroom light before walking into the living/bedroom, grabbing their coat (that they had apparently taken off.) and sliding it on, swiftly walking out the door without a sound as they whisked out of the Motel's front doors, keeping the fabric of their scarf close to their face as they walked to their destination.

"Hey, are you Err-Erro-Errō?" The seller asked, stuttering a bit as they waved them down. The seller was a cat monster, standing about 5'8, just coming up to Errō's shoulder. He was wearing an open, faded blue hoodie with a white-collared shirt underneath it, with black jeans with black and white sneakers. His fur was dark chocolate brown with white fur around his mouth and his eyes were green.
