Nightmare shook with anger and sadness, as he held the note of Error in his hands. Bright purple tears ran down his face, he bit his nonexistent lip to keep himself from crying out. He couldn't believe this had happened. He couldn't believe that Error had taken their life, by jumping into the void. He couldn't believe it, it was all Ink's fault.

Cross stared blankly at the parchment that Nightmare angrily held onto. His eyesockets burned but he refused to let himself cry in front of the council. He could hear Chara crying and screaming in the background, curled into themselves, snot and tears staining their pale skin. He and Error were good friends, but he never thought that they would do something like that. Error never hinted at being suicidal, so this was a surprise, a very unpleasant surprise. Cross shook with more and more anger as the seconds passed.

Swap cried silently, his hands balled up into fists, he should've known that this would happen eventually. But he didn't know if he could've done anything to help Error, they had said themselves that they were too far gone, they said to remain strong when they did leave. Swap remembers that conversation, it was clear as glass in his mind. He wished he'd done more to help his best friend. He misses them already, he wishes that they were here to hold him and tell him that they were okay and that they were happy now. He wished that he knew what Error felt when they did jump. Did they finally feel in control of their life for the first time? These questions will never be answered.

Stretch didn't move, he couldn't move. What? That thing- took its own life? His Brother's kidnapper, took its own life? Why? What did it have to gain from this? And why in the name of the god's did it make Blue gifts?! It probably did it to gain his bro's sympathy and love. Something that it wasn't capable of. There's no way that Stretch could forgive that thing. Not even in the dead, it didn't deserve pity.

Ink shook violently as Dream sat near him, rubbing his back and whispering softly to him. He couldn't handle being in there, he felt so guilty, and angry himself. He was so stupid and blind. He couldn't get the image of Error jumping out of his mind, it horrified him. They seemed so relaxed, too unbothered. That scene kept replaying in his head. Over and over again. It wouldn't stop. W H Y  W O U L D N ' T  I T  S T O P  ?!  It was torturous. It was continuous. It didn't stop. Why wouldn't stop!? He just wanted it to stop. He didn't like this, he didn't like the feeling of guilt. He hated it, he hated that this happened. Why didn't he just open his eyes sooner?! He felt awful. He felt sick, he sickened himself with his own actions.

Please do not bash Ink in the comments, I will delete them. He feels guilty even if the guilt isn't really 'real'. He understands it, and he understands that what he was doing is wrong.

This takes place after Ink found the note that Error left. (After chapter one.)
