" What do you mean ? " Koushy asked him being demented.

"Yeah....... actually that day we had an big issue at our office, our one of chief manager misbehaved with one of the new intern......her name is vaani........she was our junior, that asshole manager got suspended for his deeds.......that day i was too disturb to talk with anyone, that's why i didn't picked up your call....can you imagine how worst she would have felt when he touched her improperly, how disgusted she would have felt knowing his intention...and i don't even want you to imagine those things.......i just can't see you in her place..... please just for me.... this would be the last thing I'm asking you to quit.... please.....for me " koushy gazed at him with a helpless eyes.

She can't ignore his pleadings, and besides she is deeply touched by his concern for her. Now she got his point, he doesn't want her to hurt....he doesn't want her to face the painful tarumas.. that's what he is trying to say, at last that's what koushy thought but the reality was something else.

She couldn't answer him, she was beyond confusion. She doesn't know how to make him understand that his concern is right but not his way of handling this.

But what's wrong in agreeing to him ? All he wants is my safety right ? It's not like he doesn't wants me to work because he feels if i work then his male dominance and ego will effect. No right ? He's just being caring for me then why should I accept it ? May be after few days he might change his decision. Or maybe I can make him change his decision. Koushy talked with herself. However in the end she would agree for her husband's meanless request.

In a relationship like marriage, one or another person can adjust themselves for the other one if she or he wants genuinely, but here koushy forget the veracity that adjustment is just one of the ways for a happy relationship.

Seeing her lost in her own thoughts, Sanjiv placed his hands on hers to bring her back to reality.

" Okay......i will resign from my job " She said out of the blue, yet avoiding the truth that she is making a sheer mistake.

Sanjiv's face lit up with a glowing smile, kissing her forehead he murmured ' thank you' against her skin.

Koushy nervously smiled at him, although she said ok for his request, but she wasn't sure with her own decision.

Brushing away all her thoughts koushy decided to concentrate on present rather than worrying for future.

Slowly hovering over her, Sanjiv placed both of his hands on either side of her, and supported his weight. Her face was glowing in the darkness of night. Looking at her eyes, he slowly leaned towards her and kissed her temple.

Koushy Heartbeats raised in fracture of seconds, her breaths become heavy and slow all credits goes to their approximant.

His fresh male cologne smell gave her the excitement of coming moments, and Sanjiv placed a kiss on both of her cheeks along with on top of her nose.
