BEOMGYU'S POV:

I let out a small wince as the disinfectant stung the cuts on my shoulders, hands and arms. The lady, who's name was Jisung, gave me an apologetic smile as she cleaned my cuts and put bandages on them. The little boy, who's name was Kanghyun, was sitting on the ledge of the bathtub, playing with my right hand as Jisung tended to my wounds.

The boy hasn't left my side since I saved him from the car. It was cute, honestly. The way he clung to me, or pouted when I tried to walk away from him. Reminded me of a certain brunette who's pout had the same affect on me. I sighed lightly as I stood up from my place on the toilet. I had to sit there while Jisung tended to my wounds because I was too tall for her.

Kanghyun pulled me out of the bathroom and into a living room area where a few other kids were. When I got here, I had noticed the children and the mess and just how everything was and I could tell what this place was even if she didn't tell me before we got here. It was an orphanage. A very large one, with little kids that were all sorts of sweet and salty. Don't try to take their toys. I don't think it ends well.

Other than nearly getting hit by a car, and scrapping the crap out of my arms, shoulders, and hands, it's been a pretty good day. Kanghyun led me to the front door but never let go of my hand. He looked sad, and that made my heart ache. Jisung walked over to me with a smile and pulled me into a quick hug.

"Thank you again, for saving Kanghyunnie." She said and I smiled at her as I pulled out my wallet. Great, I grabbed my actual wallet. I took out a over $3000 and handed it to her as she stared at me wide-eyed and tried to force it back into my hand.

"No, keep it. Get the kids something to play with, some clothes, or food. I don't really need it." I spoke with a small smile before leaving the orphanage, of course, not until after Kanghyun hugged me. Such a sweet kid.

It was getting kind of late in the day, and I had no idea where the boys would be so I decided that it was best to return to the hotel. I wouldn't get found there by anyone anyways. Though I did know that I would be visiting that orphanage whenever I could... Or maybe not, what if my father targeted the little kids!? I couldn't help the horrid thought that swirled in my head but then I remembered that even if my father was a horrible human and would murder anyone my age to get what he wants, he wouldn't hurt innocent little kids. But that didn't mean he wouldn't go after Jisung.

My way back to the hotel was faster than I thought it would be. Though I was glad about that. Less chance of me being found. I was kind of sad, I guess you could say. It was lonely in this stupid hotel room. I started wishing I never left the boys. Maybe I'd be having fun, but then again... I couldn't bring myself to put them in danger. I would never let that happen.

THIRD PERSON'S POV:

The four thieves spent the whole day looking for the small brunette. They didn't know if he could just be hiding around their part of town or if he maybe even skipped town but they would look everywhere before leaving Paju-ssi. It took them the entire day to search the entirety of the downtown area, and sadly they came up with nothing.

"Maybe he's somewhere uptown. We can look tomorrow." Hueningkai said and the rest of the boys nodded.

They really did want to find the brunette, more than anything. Not only was he ready to sacrifice himself for them, but he was also technically in danger from his parents. They wanted to protect him. And well, the youngest of the group missed the latter a lot, despite only knowing each other for less than a day. And it hurt his hyungs to see the youngest so crestfallen about the brunette leaving.

They started making their way back to their house, all feeling a bit down since they had no progress in finding the brunette. But they did have hope. Hope that fate would bring them together sooner rather than later. And that was enough for them. The hope of seeing the brunette again.

Hueningkai, despite being upset, was probably the most hopeful out of the four. He had grown attached to the brunette within minutes of meeting him and talking to him so he wanted nothing more than to find the brunette and be friends with him. He didn't care about him worrying that his parents would hurt them, he just wanted his new friend back.

Soobin still felt bad for causing the brunette to faint when he tried to steal his wallet and he felt like he needed to do more to show his remorse and well, he liked the brunette. Maybe a little more than he should.
Taehyun was no different. He was impressed by the brunettes skills and really wanted to be friends, since he could tell that they connected on a lot of different things.
Yeonjun, well, Yeonjun felt bad for how he acted towards the brunette. The boy had really only been freaked out and he had really not done anything to be out rightly rude or disrespectful. And he essentially treated him like trash for no reason. Well there was a reason but it wasn't valid. And he knew that.

Hueningkai sat on the couch in the living room with a small frown on his face as he thought of his new brunette friend. He was worried about him. Beomgyu left to protect them, so that could mean that he was in trouble and needed someone to help him but since they didn't know where he was or where to find him, they couldn't. And well, Hueningkai really didn't want the brunette to get hurt because he wanted to protect them. He wanted to have his new friend back, safe and sound with the rest of them.

And little did they know, they'd be seeing him sooner than they thought.
