"I don't know how to exist without him. He has always been a part of me."
________
BEVERLY HILLS HIGH
Jordan and Luna used to always walk each other to their first classes. That was until girls came into the equation and whoever was Jordan's weekly conquest seemed to be waiting at the front door of Beverly High for the football superstar. Usually, Luna would use her best friend privileges to pull Jordan aside: but she was not a morning person and that included dealing with Jordan's fan club. Hadley was this week's fan club's president, tugging onto Jordan's side as they entered school.
"Good morning, Jordan. You look handsome." Luna fake gagged at Hadley's words. Thinking she had been silent enough, Luna felt Jordan and Hadley's gaze on her. Jordan was amused, while the brunette clung on his arm didn't look like she was by Luna's action.
"What the hell, Moon? You don't think I look hot today?" Rolling her eyes, Luna laughed at Jordan's words. Of course he did, but she was not about to admit that. Especially not in front of Hadley, who already looked like she was ready to send a tweet out about Luna Maravilla being the jealous best friend. "If Hadley says so. I'll catch you later. Oh, and good morning to you to, Hadley."
Jordan caught the sly annoyance in Luna's words at the end, but let her go. He wanted to tell her that he would meet her for lunch, but Jordan knew that was wishful thinking as of late. He would just surprise her at the end of their period before lunch, then she would have to join them for lunch, Jordan would make sure of it.
___________
Luna always hated Biology. And yes, it had everything to do with the fact that she was just not good at science, she was every little stereotype they had about students who love music and arts.
Olivia Baker chuckled at the look of dread on Luna's face. The two totally shouldn't be science partners due to the fact they both aren't good at science, but they couldn't stand to work with anyone else in the class so they toughed it out. Luna also knew that Olivia wasn't exactly the most social being at the moment and she wanted to be there for her. They weren't Jordan and Luna close, but they also grew up together which contended for Olivia to be her closest girl friend.
Ironically enough, Olivia and Luna had a bit more in common than either of them had with Jordan currently. Luna has been a first hand witness to how the Baker twins' closeness has shrunk as a result of their two different lifestyles. Olivia has been witness as well to how much Jordan and Luna have changed, and also how purposely oblivious they could be.
