Xiaolian's POV
Your eyes laid on the dark array of clouds outside the entrance of your office building, the sky was a dull grey and the rain was pouring rather hard. To your disadvantage you left your umbrella foolishly at home, thinking it wasn't going to rain. Now you were realizing you were very much wrong. Your boss passed by and waved goodbye to you as she got in her car, driving off into the distance.

Little things such as the rain affected you. You had freshly moved from Hong Kong to the capital of Seoul with almost no money to your name. So did your big brother Xiaojun, in order to save every won, a car was never the first priority. Having no car meant being on time for buses or walking to places. Even if that meant in the rain, hail, sleet or snow.

Sighing you put your bag above your head making a run to the apartment a few minutes away, a cab was just too expensive around Seoul. Xiaojun's voice had rung in your head.

"Money needs to be saved and used wisely."

In the process of running, your heel gave up and snapped, great just what I needed another problem. {A/N: bold italics are thoughts}

You swung open the door, throwing your heels in the trash. The apartment was empty, I guess junnie isn't home yet.

You went to the restroom to shower before getting sick. After you were finished you changed into comfy clothes and headed to the living room, switching on the tv.

The news lady spoke "Tomorrow's forecast will be even worse than today's, as well as the dust in the air will progressively get worse throughout the day, we do advise staying home as roads are flooding at a rapid pace. Many power lines fell due to the heavy rainfall earlier this morning leaving several hundred residents without power." Your kitten climbed into your lap as Xiaojun's dog, Bella slept on your feet. Yangmi purred as your ears blocked out the sound of the news lady's voice.

"Come on guys let's go to sleep it doesn't look like the storms gonna stop any time soon." Picking the cat up you headed to your bed. Plopping down under the covers you looked outside to the night sky. Bella whined against your thigh because of the thunder and Yangmi slept beside you.

You wanted comfort on the rainy days like this when nothing was going right. No one was able to comfort you today besides Yangmi, Bella and your teddy bear named Seungmin. Don't get it wrong all three of them were perfect cuddle buddies but sometimes you just wanted to be held by an actual person it was different. Xiaojun wasn't much of a physically affectionate person to you so it never crossed your mind to ask him.

It was weird you know, how you got Seungmin, you passed by this shop one evening in Seoul within your first days of moving. You spotted a lovely teddy bear sitting in front of a tall window. Something drew you in the store, a weird aura, magical almost. You picked up the teddy bear carefully and stared at it, it brought you instant serenity.

"I'll give it to you free miss if you tell me who you're giving it to." An old Ajumma appeared beside you scaring you out of your wits.

"Um no one actually, I was planning to buy it for myself, it looked kind of adorable, something to comfort me when I need peace. I've always wanted one."

"Your boyfriend has never bought you one?" You shook your head.

"I've never had a boyfriend and my brother has never gifted me anything like this."

"Well I'll tell you what, he's all yours, keep him safe I stitched his arm myself, he's a very sweet thing. His name is Seungmin. Don't change it is all I ask of you." She smiled rather warmly despite the fear she put into you seconds ago. Not wanting her to put a curse on you, you decided to keep his name just in case she was watching you.

Thinking back to it now he was a sweet old teddy bear just as the lady had said, he nearly cured your insomnia the first night you brought him home.

Even though you cried to sleep with Seungmin in your arms due to stress, you certainly didn't wake up with him the next night. He was no where to be found.

"Yangmi?!"

No response. You got up and noticed your drawers all unorganized, and the closet open. Peering in with caution you saw Yangmi sitting on top of your sweaters.

"你吓到我了!"(You scared me), how did you get in there?" You picked her up and headed to the kitchen. Feeling very off since the kitchen was also out of place. Was XiaoXiao drinking last night? And why did he go through my drawers?

You screamed in terror looking at a tall figure pop out underneath the counter you clutched your chest. Soon realizing he wasn't Xiaojun you screamed once again alarming your sleeping sibling that a terrifying issue was at hand.

"WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY APARTMENT?!?" You yelled dropping the cat on the floor and backing up.

"Your apartment?! I should be asking-" But before he could utter another word, a pan Xiaojun gripped had collided with his forehead. Knocking him out cold. Your eyes met Xiaojun's and you both stood frozen unaware of what to do.
