I thought what the world had gone through was a modern apocalypse. I thought it would bring along chaos and destruction which would kill innocent people. In fact, it was the total opposite, although few of them didn't make it. When the lights blinded away, I looked at the world around me. Everything was modernised and digitalized. Tables were just plain, clear glass floating in the air, with mini hover pads fixed on all four corners. So were the chairs as well. And Gonghwa Tertiary was no longer how it was, but had changed so much, and became Gonghwa Talents Academy. Everything was digitalized, a sight pleasing my eyes. GTA was painted entirely in white, black painted on the side of ledges. The words painted gold.
It was just plain awesomeness. What followed after was not something that I liked. My head felt dizzy, making me feel queasy. I held it in for a while and the dizziness in me dissipated into thin air."You know what?" Ms Kim spoke to us through her portable mic. "Class dismissed." Everyone weakly got started on packing their bags, leaving the class. I, however, was alright, my concious regained. I watched as Kim Ye Jeong, my deskmate, fumbled with her bag. I made a move and helped her. Her kind eyes were slightly tearing up, even though she was trying to mask her emotion. I let her be, as she stood up shakily.
She moved on, walking past me. I wasn't too sure if I was seeing things right, because I saw her eyes lingering on mine. Her tired eyes flashed a quick smile. Is it love?
