I balled my fist. Electricity coursed through my veins. Conjuring up all of my strength, I punched him. My fist met his palm and he threw me off effortlessly.

In that split second as I tumbled through the air, I saw his expression. That evil grin. Those dark malicious eyes.

No.

I chased after the dark flash of light towards the bunker. In a split second, I managed to get in front of him and launched an assault. It proved to be fruitless as I was beaten to a pulp. He was on an entirely different level. I cannot think of any way possible of defeating him right at that moment. I was sent hurtling through the sky and crashed into the bunker. My back screamed in pain as I watched him land on the bunker.

He approached me cockily, knowing I was beat. I looked up at him in my bloody mess. He was so unaffected by the assault the officers were launching at him. Not even a bazooka could harm him.

"Pathetic, that's what you are." He spat as he towered over me. "I will make use of your power, don't worry."

He's going to kill me in front of my friends. This is it. The moment that will welcome me on Death's doorstep. It was just like my dream. Was there nothing I could do?

"Dae Seok! Please! Get up!" Seoul Nee cried out in despair and in desperation. The soldiers had just run out of ammo. I turned to look at them. The people I tried so hard to protect, now teetering on the edge of my opponent's fingertips.

No, I can't let him win.

With determination fuelling me once more, I thought up of a plan. One that would end this fight for good. But how would I know that it'll succeed? I looked towards my friends.

I guess sometimes no matter what you do, you end up choosing your loved ones over yourself.
