Lloyd's POV :
My life was not perfect, but at least I had my friends. Or maybe, used-to-be friends. I had no idea why they started acting cold towards me and kept avoiding me, even when I try to talk to them. It was 2 days before Friendship Day, and I was more than excited for the day to arrive. My friends and I always did everything together, especially on Friendship Day. Anyway, I was walking to my friends who were talking near our lockers.
"Hi,guys!" I greeted them but they just acted like I wasn't there.
I sighed and opened my locker, or rather, my used-to-be-my-locker locker.
"Uhh...guys,have you seen my stuff?They aren't in my locker." I asked them and one of them actually answered.
"It's at the end of all these lockers." Kai answered and I was shocked.
"What?!Why?!" I asked.
"Because,Lloyd.I think it's time we take a break from each other for a while,or maybe forever." Jay answered.
"W-What do you mean?" I answered, afraid of what was going to happen, especially between me and my friends.
"I mean,we should never talk to each other again,forever." Cole answered.
"Guys,is this a prank?I don't understand!" I asked them trying to hold my tears.
"We aren't friends anymore,Lloyd." Nya told me without hesitation.
"Haha,very funny,guys!I'm not falling for it!" I told them thinking they were joking, but...I was wrong.
"We're not joking!Get out of our sight!!" Zane told me and was about to freeze me, but I dodged and started crying.
"G-Guys,w-what's wrong?Did I make a mistake?" I asked them while trying to hold my tears.
"Your only mistake is hanging out with us and become friends with us!Now GO AWAY!!" Nya told me and pushed me until I fell to the floor, everyone in the hallway laughed at me and I ran away, crying.
"Finally,he's gone!" I heard Cole said.
I went to where my locker actually was and took my phone. I texted my mom saying I was on my way home.
Me : Mom,I'm coming home.
Koko : What?But your school isn't over for the day yet.Is something wrong?
Me : I'll explain at home.I just want to get out of here.
Koko : Alright,tell the teacher first before you go home.
I put my phone in my pocket and took all of my stuff from my locker, at least my books and school supplies. And I went straight home without saying a word, I didn't even bother to tell any of the teachers, I just went out of the school. Since I was a ninja, I climbed a wall out of the school without getting caught then I went straight home. As soon as I got home, I saw my mom standing in front of the door, looking all worried about me. I told her what happened.
"My friends don't want to be friends with me anymore!" I told her while crying.
"That can't be right!" She doubted.
"I wish I could say the same.But...b-but..." I said but couldn't say the rest of my words and just ran to my room and locked the door.
Koko's POV :
"What happened to him at school?" I thought to myself with anxiety and decided to call Lloyd's homeroom teacher.
I dialed the number and it started ringing, soon enough, Lloyd's homeroom teacher picked up the phone.
"Good afternoon.This is Mr.Jack." Mr.Jack greeted.
"Good afternoon,sir." I greeted back and asked, "Umm..did..something happened to my son while he was at school?He just came home and he seemed....depressed."
"What is your son's name?" Mr.Jack asked.
"Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon." I answered.
"He went home?!How could he just left without telling me?!" Mr.Jack asked disappointedly.
"Wait,he didn't tell you?" I asked in shock and confusion.
"Oh,I'm sorry,miss.I didn't mean to say it out loud." He apologized and answered, "Your son didn't say anything to me.I will ask his friends once class is starting."
"Thank you." I thanked him.
"My pleasure,miss." He replied and hung up.
I decided to check on my son, so I went to his room and knocked on his door.
"Lloyd." I called.
"I'm not in the mood to talk,mom!" He said while crying.
"Lloyd,honey,tell me what's wrong!What happened at school?" I asked him.
"I don't want to talk about it!" He said and I sighed, getting more worried about him.
Nya's POV :
The school bell just rung, which meant it was time to get to class. So we all went to class and sat down at our seats.
"Welcome back to class,class." The teacher greeted and said, "Now before we start,I need to ask you a question."
"Please don't be a quiz!" Jay shouted.
"It's not a quiz." The teacher told us and we were in relief and confusion.
"What is the question,Mr.Jack?" Zane asked.
"Does anyone know why Lloyd just left the school without saying a word?" Mr.Jack asked and we were all in silent.
"Kai,Nya,Jay,Cole,and Zane.I was hoping you know why Lloyd just left because you 5 are his best friends and you 6 always hang out together." Mr.Jack said.
"Sorry,Mr.Jack.We don't know anything." I lied.
"Oh,he also didn't say anything to you?" Mr.Jack asked.
"No,Mr.Jack." Kai answered.
"Alright,I'm gonna call his mother later.For now,we should start learning." Mr.Jack said and started teaching us about atoms and other chemical stuff.
While he was teaching, I suddenly got a flashback of when Lloyd taught me scientific stuff. Then I snapped myself out of the flashback.
"No,no more thinking about him,Nya.He's not your friend anymore." I thought to myself and continued listening to Mr.Jack.
Lloyd's POV :
I stared at the picture of me and my friends together and felt as if they were right next to me. But the longer I stared at it, the more sadness I feel in my heart. How could they?!Why would they do this?!
"WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG?!?!" I yelled and threw the picture across the room until the frame shattered.
I walked to it and grabbed the picture without the frame. Then, I ripped it apart into tiny pieces.
"You guys don't want to be friends with me anymore?Fine.Then the good and kind Lloyd will die!" I said and threw the pieces to the ground.
"Goodbye.."
