Alright.
I was getting bored. But thankfully, Isa had a way to cheer me up. She would always give me one of her paintings. The theme was always the same.
Friendship.
But I didn't mind at all.
Sure, I gave up on friendship. But Isa asked me to give it one more chance. I didn't agree at first, but she showed me that not all friendship is bad, especially the one I had with her.
When it was time to go home, Isa and I walked to our lockers to put our books away.
"Lloyd." She called and I turned to her after closing my locker.
"Do you have any plans for summer break?" She asked.
"Not really." I answered.
"My family and I are planning to go to an Amusement Park in 2 days.Would you like to come?"
Did Isa just invite me to hang out with her family? And to an Amusement Park?! That sounded fun!
But...
'What if something goes wrong?What if while we hang out,...we get into an argument.And...we...break out friendship?Then I'd be alone again.'
"U-Uhh...I'll...I'll think about it." I answered.
"Ok.Just text me later once you made your decision." Isa replied.
I nodded.
At Home.
"What's wrong,Lloyd?Isa invited you to hang out with her.That's great!" Mom said.
I was sitting at the table with my parents. I had told them about Isa's invitation, they both seemed happy about it. But I was a bit....insecure.
"It is.But...what if things get bad and....Isa and I...break our friendship?Like my last one." I said and my forehead fell to the table.
"You gotta learn to leave the past behind.You're not dealing with those fakies anymore!" Dad said.
"Fakies?" I asked, confused.
Like, does that word even exist?!
"Like...Fake.Fake-ies..?" Dad explained.

"Anyway,....I'm not going!I already lost a lot of friendship and just got one back!I don't plan to lose it!" I said and went to my room.
"The choice is always yours,son.But just remember,don't let the past stop you from having fun." My mom said.
I just nodded.
After dinner, I went to my room to go to sleep when my phone rang. I went to check and..
it was Isa.
She was calling me.
I hesitated, I knew she was calling to ask about my decision. But I just couldn't leave her hanging, so I sat on my bed and answered.
"Hey,Isa." I greeted.
"Hey,Lloyd.Listen,no rush or anything.But I wanted to make sure whether you're coming with us in 2 days.My parents are planning to buy the tickets tomorrow." She told me.
I didn't know what to answer. I wanted to go with her, but I was too scared. I still hadn't recovered from the last friendship I had.
But my mom always told me, the best way to recover from a broken friendship, was by starting a new one. And I didn't want to upset her. So,..
"I'll go." I answered Isa.
"Really?!" Isa asked, sounding very excited.
"Yeah.I've thought about it and talked to my parents.They're ok with it." I said.
"Cool!I'm gonna go tell my parents!Can't wait to hang out!" She said excitedly and ended the call.
I sighed. Did I just accept an offer from...a friend?
I just hope everything would go well and nothing bad will get in-between Isa and my friendship.
