I stepped down the stairs softly, the shift in height coming with a soft ding. I checked my phone, a simple black case blending with the rest of the dark downstairs area. Checking these only led to a soft amusement.

Slipping the phone into my pocket I grabbed a set of keys off the counter. Heading out of the house, I stepped into my car.
The campus was already dully lit as I arrived, Patton having already been waiting for me. "Hey Lo! Only Vee is here. He said you would probably be here soon so I came out here." I glanced at my phone when it dinged. "May I check the notification, Patton?" "Sure kiddo!" I sighed, pulling out my phone.
