-Mono's POV-
I woke up to see RK's head on my shoulder sleeping, his wings wrapped around us like a blanket.

I try to wake him up by poking him
He just groans and shakes his head I laughed
"Come on RK you need to wake up" I said while poking him again
"Fine fine" He says while tucking in his wings and standing up stretching
I do the same

"I wonder if Y/N would let us explore the pale City some" RK asked
"I mean I explored it with an old friend when I was younger-" I was cut off with RK slightly yelling
"Wait you've actually explored the Pale City?!?" "I mean yeah but I don't think it was the entire City" I reply back

"Now we have to go see more!" RK said back with his Wings slightly open
He runs to Y/N's room door and knocks
Y/N opens the door " Yeah what's up RK?-" "Can me and Mono explore the Pale City?"
"Uhh sure but just be safe."
"Thanks Y/N!" RK hugs Y/N

I walk over to them "before we go we have to change" I say
"Okay!" RK responds back

~After changing~

-RK's POV-

Mono was wearing the same clothes as the day I met him. I was wearing a black sleeveless sweater with a dark dirty blue jacket and black paints and some black shoes with the jacket hood up also with fingerless gloves

"Ready to go Mono?" I ask "yup!" He responds

~later in the Pale City~

-Mono's POV-

Me and RK were just wondering the Pale City but I had my hood down and my mask off to the side of my face
"Hey RK how much have you seen of the Pale City?" I ask breaking the silence "a bit-" He starts but then we hear some chater RK immediately seems to know who's talking "RK do you know who's-" I get cut off by feeling a tug on my hood and getting pulled

Next thing I knew me and RK were in a thin alleyway with me couched down but with RK in front standing almost all the way and his hand was on my mouth basically saying be quite he's not looking at me but out the alleyway I look the same way and see two people in what looks like lab coats carrying guns?? Or something else..

I look back up at RK who is breathing heavily almost like he's scared.. I look back at them and they've stopped moving and talking looking around

In instinct I grab RK and pull him down closer to me and in surprise his wings fan out I quickly and gently grab one of the wings that is facing the outside and manage to cover us both

We wait in silence then we hear the walk away we stay there for a bit just to make sure they're gone

We then stare at each other and then quickly look away I felt my face heat up I let go off his wing and both of us get out of the spot

-Y/N POV-

"They've been gone for awhile I wonder if they're safe.." You hear a knock at the door and look out the peephole and see Two men in lab coats you instantly get a bad feeling so you don't answer the door and find a place to hide you hear the knock again and still don't answer the door and then dead silence

You start to breathe heavily in fear
A hour goes by and you get up and then you hear the door open you look to see Mono and RK you sigh in relief

"So how was it?" You ask "it was.... Interesting" Mono replies RK just flops onto the couch and expands his wings and then folds them back in

"It wasn't that eventful-" RK starts
"Says the one that threw me in an alleyway" Mono snaps back

"Wait RK did what?" You ask kinda surprised "it's fine I'm not hurt Y/N" Mono replies back
