"Daddy! Daddy!" 5 year old Akasuki rushed to Kindaichi who had just got home from work, "can we go to this new pizzeria?"
"Sorry, sweetie, but Daddy's really tired," Kindaichi ruffled her hair, "it was a long day at work."
Kunimi soon followed in. The two finished work at the exact same day. Well, Kunimi did model while Kindaichi was his photographer.
"Thank you, Oikawa," Kunimi reached into his pocket and gave Oikawa $100 for babysitting Akasuki.
"It was no problem, we played dress up," Oikawa smiled.
"I can see that," Kindaichi muttered, eyeing at the smeared lipstick and bright blue and pink eyeshadow that was all over his face.
"I'll see you tomorrow," Oikawa waved to Akasuki who pouted and waved.
"Dad, when will you guys get to hang out with me?" Akasuki asked.
"Once our schedule clears up, you know that it gets busy around this time of year," Kunimi picked up his daughter, "now, it's time for bed."
"I don't want to go to bed though!" Akasuki frowned.
"But I let you stay up past your bedtime," Kunimi informed.
Akasuki glanced at the clock, "what time is it?"
"You don't know?"
Akasuki shook her head.
"Alright, it says here that it is 11:00 at night," Kunimi lied, acting shocked. It was only 8:30.
"11?! I guess I'll go to sleep then." She leaned her head on Kunimi's shoulder and fell asleep.
"Works everytime," Kunimi muttered to Kindaichi.
"Until she learns how to tell the time," Kindaichi smirked.
After putting the girl to bed and switching on the nightlight, the two headed to their own room and got ready for the night.
Once in bed, Kunimi laid his head on Kindaichi's chest.
"Hey, I've been thinking.."
"About what?" Kindaichi muttered.
"We have been super busy lately," Kunimi sighed.
"Yeah."
Kunimi closed his eyes and fell asleep.
"Akasuki, wake up!"
"Nooo."
"But it's time to go."
"We're going somewhere today, Oikawa?" She opened her eyes, but saw her parents instead of the brown haired boy, "Daddy?! Dad?!"
"Hi," Kunimi waved.
"What are you doing here?"
"We canceled work to hang out with you," Kindaichi explained.
"Yay!" She threw her arms around their necks, holding them close.
"We can go to that new pizzeria you were talking about," Kunimi smiled.
"Really?!"
"Yep, now get dressed!"
Akasuki hopped up as the two boys left the room. She quickly threw on a purple skirt and pink shirt before she ran into the living room where Kunimi was waiting for her to do her hair.
"All finished," Kunimi informed, finishing off the usual pigtails and bows.
"All ready?" Kindaichi asked and Akasuki nodded before walking out the house with her dads.

"Wow!" Akasuki admired her surroundings.
The rest of the day, they spent eating pizza, playing arcade games, and winning prizes. Akasuki got her own giant duck plush.
"Thank you, Daddy! Dad!" Akasuki hugged them, "this has been the best day ever!"
