"Please be safe, Akasuki," Kindaichi exclaimed.

"Don't worry, Papa, I'll be fine, it's just my first day of highschool," 14 year old, Akasuki, chuckled.

"Remember though, men are trashy wolves," Kindaichi informed, "and if you ever get bullied, you can come to us."

"So, you think I'm going to be bullied?" Akasuki asked.

"No! That's not what I meant, it's just, people suck and-"

"I'm joking, Papa, I know you're just watching out for me," Akasuki snickered.

"You're all grown up!" Kindaichi sniffed before hugging his daughter.

"Alright, we need to go," Kunimi broke up the scene, waiting in the car.

"Bye, Papa!"

Akasuki hopped in the car beside Kunimi and they pulled out of the driveway to school.

"Now I'm nervous," Akasuki laughed to her dad.

"I know that it's a new thing in your life, but there is really no need to be worried," Kunimi informed his daughter, as they pulled up to Nekoma, "got your schedule?"

Akasuki nodded.

"Have a good day, i love you!"

"Love you too, dad!" She waved goodbye as Kunimi drove off.

"'Love you too, dad,'" a mocking voice said from behind Akasuki.

Akasuki turned around and noticed a boy with black hair and golden eyes.

"You don't love your dad? That's unfortunate," Akasuki fixed her backpack before turning away to walk to her class.

"B*tch."

Akasuki decided to ignore the insult.

The black haired girl soon arrived to her classroom before she walked in to find a desk. She took one by the window. It was nice and quiet for a bit until the popular girl clique walked in and made the classroom all noisy.

After being forced to sit through the torture of listening to the clique gossip for half an hour, the teacher walked in, causing everyone to rush to their seats and Akasuki put away her phone.

"Alright, class, let's have a good year."

"Dang, he's cute," Akasuki overheard one of the girls whisper to her friend, "but isn't he a second year? Why is he down here?"

Akasuki glanced over to where they were looking.

A boy was now perched outside of the classroom, his phone in hand as he scrolled. His gray hair swooped across his forehead as the phone screen illuminated in his blue eyes.

"Oi, Benjiro, hurry up!" He called out as Akasuki glanced to a short, pudgy boy who scrambled to collect his papers and bag.

"Coming, Eiji!" This Benjiro called out as he hopped over to the tall boy who now had the girls around him.

The boy named Eiji ignored the girls as him and Benjiro walked away.

"Wow! He ignored me," one girl clasped her hands together, "how hot!"

Akasuki couldn't help, but snort. How rude of him to do.

After she finished collecting her stuff, she walked out of the classroom when she came across a boy on the floor, scrambling to pick up his stuff, surrounded by other boys, including the one with black hair and gold eyes from earlier.

Akasuki almost ignored it since she didn't want to really get caught up in a fight, but decided that it would best to try and help.

"Hey, leave him alone!" She called to the group.

"Oh look! Its Pancake from earlier!" The golden eyed boy snickered.

"Hey! I'm still growing!" She growled.

"Sure."

"Wow, Kai, you need a girl to protect you?" One of the other boys laughed to the boy on the floor.

"Girl or not, I'll still kick your a**!" Akasuki grumbled.

"Oh yeah, you want to start tha-" the golden eyed boy was interrupted when Akasuki punched him across the face, "my beautiful face! Let's go boys!"

The group ran off as Kai hurried to pick up his papers from the floor.

"Thank you..."

"Akasuki Kindaichi, but you can just call me Akasuki."

"Thank you, Akasuki."

Akasuki got a better look at the boy. Blonde hair and brown eyes with freckles dotting his face.

"What's your name?" Akasuki asked the boy.

"Well, I'm Kai Tsukishima," the boy informed, "but just call me Kai."

"Alright, Kai, if anyone tries to pick on you again, just let me know!"

"Ok, thank you again, Akasuki!"

Unbeknownst to Akasuki, a certain grey haired boy had seen the whole thing with an amused smile.

I hope you enjoyed! Even though Kunimi's last name is now Kindaichi cause they married, im still gonna call him Kunimi to not confuse anyone! I will also try and draw what each character looks like! Also, me when I wrote the nickname, Pancake: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
