Evie and doug were at the enchanted lake having a little picnic. "Evie I need to go somewhere, sorry" Doug said getting up. Evie looked up at him in confusion. "But we just got here, and your already leaving?" Evie asked. "Yes, and I'm sorry! But it's important" Doug said. Evie got up and walked to him. "More important than me?" Evie asked.
"Well...yes" Doug said. "What is it that's so important?" Evie asked. "Uh...I have to go study!" Doug lied. "Well we can study together!" Evie smiled. "No!" Doug quickly said. Evie backed away from his tone. "I mean...uh I have to go!" Doug said and ran away. Evie sighed and sat back down looking at her bowl of grapes.
She heard the sounds of footsteps behind her and turned around to see carlos. "Hey Evie, why are you here all alone?" He asked sitting infront of her taking a grape from her bowl. "Well I was here with doug but he left, like he always does" Evie said sadly.
"Oh, so kinda like jane and I" Carlos said. "What do you mean?" Evie asked. "Everytime I ask her on a date she either denies it or leaves early" Carlos said. "Oh I'm so sorry" Evie said. "No it's fine, your more important anyways" Carlos smiled holding her hands. She blushed.
"I should go now" Evie said getting up slowly. "Wait Evie!" Carlos said walking to her. "Yes?" She asked looking up at him. "Would you maybe...want to hang out tonight?" Carlos asked. "Yes, I would love to" She said with a smile. He returned the smile and they walked back to their sperate dorms.
