The Paladins take her back to their base and proper introductions are done. Once Crystal explains Magic and Antimagic as well as what Limbo is she sighs and places her head in her hands on the meeting table. "So what you're saying is that when your staff exploded all the Magic in it was released and while you absorbed most of it some of it entered Victoria?" questions Shiro, the Black Paladin.
Crystal nods, "Yes... I should be able to remove it. I don't want to drag anyone else into my war..."
Victoria, the Purple Paladin, stands up, "No way! You clearly need help! It's our jobs as paladins to help others even if you aren't from our world!"
Keith, the Red Paladin, pulls her back into her seat as Shiro takes over again, "Victoria is right. If what you're saying is true then you will surely need help from those who reside in the worlds that are attacked. And it seems that you can pass this Magic that you use to others."
"I didn't know I could until today," Crystal admits, "I mean I'd seen my mentor do it but he put the power into the staff, not into me. Besides, if I'm to maintain the balance between Magic and Antimagic then I can't go around giving everyone Magic abilities. So at most I could give it to one more here."
"Then give it to Alec," Pidge, the Green Paladin suggests, gesturing to the Orange Paladin sitting next to her, "He's Victoria's best friend and probably the most qualified of all of us to wield it."
Alec looks at Pidge then around the room, "I mean, I'll do it, I want to help, but are you guys sure?"
"We're sure, Alec. It makes sense given how well you fight alongside Victoria already, you two would be the best team up against her," Allura, who Crystal had learned is the owner of the ship, princess of a fallen planet and not a paladin, assures the young man.
"What about Keith! Victoria is freaking dating him!" Alec exclaims.
"Yeah but you two are the ones from the same planet," Keith retorts gesturing to Alec's lion ears and tail, which are the same shade of tan as his hair, and Victoria's dark purple wings and the gem in her forehead, "Your animal forms will probably make your ability to wield this stuff more versatile."
"Your friend poses a good point," Crystal interjects before Alec can argue, "Plus I neglected to mention sooner but positive bonds shared with others are what keep Magic strong. I can tell just at a glance that Keith is more of an introvert he isn't fond of interacting with others much. So naturally, Alec, you'd be a stronger wielder."
This makes them all look at her. "Then how are you so strong, you said that in Limbo it's just you and that Antimagic user?" Shiro questions.
"Well bonds help but one's own determination and positive emotions can strengthen Magic as well. I'm nowhere near the strongest but I'm strong enough."
"If you aren't able to access the full power of this Magic you wield then maybe getting others' assistance is a good idea for you," Allura points out gently.
Crystal looks down, "You are correct I just don't want to put others at risk..."
"We fight the Galra every day, Crystal, we're well aware of the risks," Shiro assures her.
"All right, but I'll make the emblem only activate when Antimagic is present or when training, so that Victoria and Alec don't upset the balance of power in the multiverse by using Magic all the time." Both Alec and Victoria nod and Crystal approaches Victoria first. Placing her hand on Victoria's shoulder Crystal focuses on the emblem and it glows for a moment before fading.
"What did you do?!" Keith yells, standing up, "I thought you said you wouldn't remove the seal!"
"Calm yourself, the seal was simply made invisible. It will only appear when Antimagic is present," Crystal replies calmly before walking over to Alec. She places her hand on his shoulder and an orange aura and emblem appear before fading.
