Aki takes a deep breath before stepping forward towards the large podium. Her hands shake as she sets them atop the podium. She was petrified. How couldn't she be. She was standing before the leaders of the world.

"Hi?" Aki starts off. She flinches at the ridiculousness of it. She in front of the most respected, most powerful, people in the world. She sighs in relief as they all smile or laugh softly. She even hears a few hellos from the back of the room. It eases her tense muscles.

"Not the best way to start off." She shakes her head and looks down at the stack of papers on the podium. "You know, I had this all planned out. I had a whole speech written and... No one wants to listen to all that. You know the facts. You've heard them several times in my videos. You've heard them from the mouths of tens of Tags."

Aki licks her lips. "The facts aren't what is going to convince you, and neither are the statistics. I would say our stories would convince you, but if the ones you have already heard haven't, then neither will any that I have. The only thing that can and will convince you is the truth. You want to see the reality."

Aki touches the tags around her neck. "The truth, the reality, is that tags are treated as slaves. No, they are treated worse than slaves. Beaten, raped, experimented on, and the list goes on. We have watched those we love die. We have even been forced to kill them ourselves. We are murders, but not by choice. That choice, every choice, was taken from us and decided by those who saw us as nothing more that objects."

"I'm here to convince you to free the Tags and give them their lives back. Lives that were stolen from them simply because their quirks are seen as dangerous, or even useful in combat. Tags have been forced to become soldiers and murders. We did not want that life. We wanted to be heroes, we wanted to own restaurants and be florists.. we wanted to be so many things, but that was stolen from us!" Aki looks down at her hands.

Aki wipes her tears as they fall. "I was just a child who didn't know how to control my quirk. I was a scared little girl who hurt people on accident. I was a little girl who dreamed of.. I dreamed of being kind. I dreamed of a big family and all the love that would come with that. But they stole that from me! They stole that from all of us!"

Aki stops wiping her tears and let's them fall freely. "But it is so much worse than that. They didn't just steal our dreams and our love. They stole our aspirations. They stole everything that made us human and they created monsters in its place... they stole our humanity."

"But the truth is I can not convince you to do what is right. Only you can do that. So I ask you to look deep into your hearts, your souls, and see that we tags are people too. I ask you to see that we deserve to be treated just as the rest of you are. Please, save us. Be our hero's, because we desperately need you to."

Aki moves back from the podium before moving in front of it. She kneels down and bows her head. "I am begging you. Be better then your predecessors. Be better, do better. Give us our humanity back..."

Aki sits down on the floor in front of her dads and tenya. Her nerves were shot, her hands shaking like crazy. Speaking to so many influential and powerful people was scary. If she said the wrong thing then it was over for her and the rest of the tags.

"Aki?" Shouta kneels down in front of her. "What's wrong? Talk to me." He gets no response as her breathing becomes shallow.

"Sweetheart?" Hizashi calls as he sits beside her. He doesn't get a response either.

"I think she's having a panic attack, Zashi.." Shouta takes akis face in his hands and makes her look at him.

"I-I can-can't... wh-what I-if they.. I-I-I can-can't..." akis words are ragged and choppy.

Tenya sits down beside her and takes her hand in his own. He squeezes lightly, letting her know he is here and isn't going anywhere. Everything will be okay.

"Hey, sweetheart, everything's fine. Your speech, it was perfect. There is no way they will disagree with you. I promise you." Hizashi runs his fingers through her hair. It usually calms her down, so he's hoping it will work.

"B-but... wh-what if..." Tears stream down her face, they drip onto her clothes. The fear of failure is so strong in that moment that it feels like it's the only thing their is.

"Hey, don't think like that. You've come too far, put too much into this to just give up. Believe in yourself as much as we believe in you." Shouta scolds her as he wipes her tear stand face.

Aki nods, trying to take control of herself. She can't break down now. They're right. She's come too far to back down.

Aki sits on the couch in her living room. Her whole family was there, along with everyone in 1A, with the exception of Uraraka. The brown haired girl still wanted nothing to do with Aki, or Tags. Aki didn't care. She didn't need someone like that in her life.

What everyone was waiting on was the voting of the UN conference. All the countries had gotten together and decided that they would vote on the Asher bill. If the vote passed, all countries were to set Tags free and protect them.

"Is it just me, or is the suspense killing you guys too?" Kirishima asked as he lent on the back of the couch, head between Aki and Bakugos.

"Shut up, shitty hair." Bakugo grumbled as his eyes landed on Akis leg that would not stop bouncing. He frowned, trying to think of how to help her.

"Sorry." The red headed male smiled sheepishly at his friends.

"It's fine. We've all put a lot of work into this. It's stressful for all of us." Aki smiles at him and leans her head against his arm.

"Some of us more than others." Bakugo grumbled. He looks at the small girl beside her and raises an eyebrow in question.

"It doesn't matter how much work anyone put in. The fact that you all have been here for me, for the Tags, it means the world to me. Even if we don't win today, I know you will all keep fighting by my side." Aki closes her eyes and smiles to hide her tears. She can not express how grateful she is to have all of these people in her life. She never thought she would have this, this support system that one could do not dream of.

"We're not going anywhere." Tenya promises for the whole group.

"Yeah! What Iida said. You're stuck with us now!" Kaminari tilts his head back into her lap. Everyone quickly follows with their shouts of agreement.

Aki can't help the tears that quickly start falling. She has never felt more loved than in that moment. She has never felt more at home anywhere else. These people, they were her home.

"It is with great pleasure that I stand before you all here today." One of the representatives smiles at the camera. "The world is changing, our people are changing. Some are turning into villains, but others are becoming heroes. Heroes like Supernova. Heroes who fight for and protect the weak."

The woman licks her lips as she continues speaking. "For so long we have been afraid of these changes, afraid of ourselves and each other. Well I say enough! It's time to embrace who we are, embrace our flaws and air our dirty laundry."

"For too long our governments have gone unchecked. Too many of us allow our countries to experiment, torture and murder in the name of "the greater good." How can we sit back and watch any longer? How can we pretend to be blind to these sins?"

The woman raises an eyebrow at the camera. "The answer is, we can't. That is why, from this day forward, the Asher Bill will be executed in every country around the world! QAT will be disbanded!"

"Yes!" Aki screams as she jumps up from her seat. Everyone around her following with their own cheers of happiness l. "We did it!"

"We, the UN, have even decided to take the Asher Bill one step further. Each victim of the QATs crimes will be compensated for the atrocity's committed against them. In place of the QAT, we will be putting together a group of individuals who will protect Tags and their rights. Each country has also agreed that, to prevent further groups like the QAT from forming, each child will have to go through not only quirk assessments, but quirk training. Our children need to learn not to fear their quirks. A quirk doesn't make you a villain, it's how you use it that matters."
