*Flashback*

14 years old

"Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday dear April and August Happy Birthday to you"They sung for us we finally turned 14 and we had our close family around

"Blow out the candles"we blew them out and got a piece of cake April walked out the house while everyone was socializing I grabbed the box that had her present in it and walked outside I went and sat next to her on the the step

"Hey April"I said she offered a small smile

"Hey Aug wazzam"she said in her New Awlins accent the one I fell in love with

"I got chu something"I handed her the box

"It's not anything big but it something special"I said she smiled and opened the box in there was a necklace with our birthstone in it the birthstone was gold and had her initials on the back of it she looked at me and smiled she hugged me I hugged back

"Thanks Aug I really 'preciate it can you put in for me"she asked I nodded she turned around and moved her long ass hair I put it around her neck clasping it she put her hair back down and smiled looking at the necklace

"I wanted to ask you sumn"I said she looked at me with those big hazel eyes

"I know we're friends but I'm catching feelings your to beautiful to pass up to some low life so April Will you be my girl" I asked she smiled and leaned in kissing me I kissed back she pulled away a few mins later

"Of course"

*Flashback Over*

And that's how it all started my baby she's everything and more I love her to death

"Babyeh get up we gotta go to school I said shaking her she groaned but got up wiping her eyes we are now 16 years old we been together for 2 years we live in a apartment it's a 1 bedroom but we make it work because we need some place to live

"Good morning babyeh"she said coming out the shower I leaned down and pecked her lips

"Good morning midget how you sleep"I said lacing up my sneakers

"Um good I slept good"she said not looking at me putting on a bra and a black crop top with her khaki pants and Columbia 11's I grabbed her face softly

"What happen babyeh"I asked softly unshed tears were in her eyes she wiped them quickly

"Nothing babe I'm going to do my hair"I gave her a look she sighed

"I had another dream"she said

Ever since her mom died a few years ago she ain't been the same but her and her siblings are getting through it

"Can we go see maw maw today I promised the girls I would take them"I nodded

"Of course I have to see my gansta' boo"I said she chuckled

"There's that beautiful smile I was waiting for come on before we late"she brushed her hair leaving it straight and grabbed her bag I grabbed mine and we were out

1st period

We walked into first period talking we seen our crew and we walked over there April sat her thick ass on my lap I bit my lip

"Damn babyeh all this ass I'm gonna tear up when we get home"I whispered in her ear she laughed and playfully punch me on the chest

"Y'all nasty assess"Camryn said I stuck my tongue out at her she smacked me upside the head the crew laughed

"Aye don't be hitting my babyeh" April said rubbing the back of my head

"That's right babe tell em"I said she chuckled

"Babe I'm going to the bathroom come on dumb assess"she said to Cam Honey and Heather they got up and left me and the boys started talking as we were one of the hoes in our school came up to me

"Hey Aug"she said touching my shoulder I politely brushed her off she don't know my girlfriend is crazy

"Wazzam"I said giving her a head nod

"I was wondering if you would like to come over af-"she was cut off by April coming in

"Hey"April said to the broad Ariel that's her name she sat on my lap

"Hey babyeh"April pecked my lips

"I'll see you later Aug if you wanna take up on my offer"Ariel said winking at me before she could turn around April wrapped her hand around her hair

"Listen bitch don't come ova hea' and talk to my man like that he don't want your dusty ass he has me for a reason get the fuck outta hea' with that shit come around him again and next time I won't hesitate to drag your ass across the floor gon' some wea'"she let go of her hair and she walked away April rolled her eyes and turned to me and grabbed me by my shirt

"And you try me Anthony try me and you won't live to see another day don't get caught up please you don't wanna see me angry"she let go of my shirt the bell rang she kissed my cheek said bye to the crew and walked out

"Sis got chu shook"Michael said I rolled my eyes

"Shut up dumb ass let's go"
