The First Day

HELLO MY READERS! I'm hyped. I've had this swirling around my brain for a little bit, so I'm excited to get this going. I know I'm probably going to get questions about the gay tag so I'll just answer them now. This is not a GL or BL romance. A bunch of the characters are gay and they might have same-sex relationships but that's not what this story is about. Sorry! If you want romance I'm writing one-shots that will be ready in a few weeks.

Alrighty, time for the story. Remember to like and comment!

"Ugh, just leave me on the toilet with some Midol and chocolate I'll be fine!" Carmelina screamed through the door.

"No way it's the first day of school! You have to come!" Lupe screamed back.

"I have the period poops, I'll either poop or bleed through my pants! Plus it's only the first day for us!"

"You have ten minutes to get yourself together. After that, I'm breaking down the door."

Carmelina cussed her out in her head and put another pad on. Pulling her pants up she groaned as the blood swirled in her uterus. I should have it taken out, she thought, at least then I could donate it.

She finally opened the door and didn't even have time to put one foot out before Lupe grabbed her. "Pain ranked?" She asked concern in her eyes.

"A three."

Lupe nodded and wordlessly gave her two white pills. She tipped them back into her mouth and swallowed. Lupe held up two bags and gave them to her. One was a blue backpack and the other was a small pink knapsack.

"Blue is school stuff and pink is period stuff," Lupe explained. She smiled and nodded her thanks.

"Alright, alright, alright. Let's go!" Lupe cried as she pushed her out of the house. Shesie was already outside waiting. As soon as all feet were on the pavement she started walking, Carmalina and Lupe right behind her.

They eventually reached the bus. There were already five people their age as well as seven more older folks. They were right on time. A good thing too. Lupe and Shesie might have killed her if they were one second late.

They hopped on when the doors opened and paid. Glancing at the driver she was pleasantly surprised. It was a young, skinny, femme person with a scarf and sunglasses. They are cute, she thought to herself, I should get their number.

As the driver smiled and Shesie snorted next to her she realized she had not in fact thought in her head. Lupe giggled. "You should, just not right now," Lupe said, pulling her away.

As they sat in their seats with a plop, Shesie laughed again. "Aren't you a player?" she snorted.

"Oh be quiet Shesie, we were all thinking it, Carmalina grumbled back.

"Doesn't mean you have to say it you weirdo."

"Hey-"

Lupe interrupted her, "Shhh I'm trying to look out the window and you're being too loud."

So Carmalina followed her lead and looked out the window and counted how many ice cream shops there were. There were three. And all of them were so pastel it hurt to look at them.

After a few stops, they arrived at the school. As they walked off the driver handed her a card in between her fingers with pink numbers on it. Carmelina blushed and took it. It said, Call me, in big swoopy pink letters with numbers beneath. She walked off, her cheeks still pink. She showed it to Shesie. Shesie whistled. "Like I said, a player."

She looked up from the card. This time she whistled. The school was beautiful. It wasn't very big, maybe medium-sized, but it was impressive. Made of bricks it looked traditional. Probably because it's a private school. More money to spend on infrastructure.

The students milling beneath it though looked anything but traditional. Skateboarding, smoking, and kissing. They seemed to be having a good time before the teachers got there.

A bell rang and everyone stormed the building. They walked in after and looked for the office. It was right by the entrance, right next to the library.

Looking in the window of the library she found Heaven. There were big books, little books, encyclopedias, fantasy, nonfiction, she was pretty sure she drooled a little bit. As her 'friends' dragged her away from her baby's, a teacher walked over. "You must be the new students!" she said with a sticky smile.

"Yep," Shesie replied.

"Go to the office you need to get your stuff."

"Uh alright."

They walked into the office giving each other looks that clearly said, what a bitch.

They walked in, got their stuff, and walked out. "Alright, Lupe you have the first class with me," Shesie explained.

They put their stuff in their lockers and made plans to meet up after class.

As her friends walked away she wished to herself that they would have an uneventful first day.

                                                                                            ^-^

Yeah because I'll let that happen. Or you know what, maybe I will, who knows. Certainly not me.

Hope you enjoyed it. See you next time. :)
