First command

AN: Hello fellow fanfictioners! So this fic is about my fav Star Wars character Ahsoka Tano! I hope you enjoy!

Ashoka sits criss cross on the floor of her quarters. She tries to meditate, but thought of the days before wouldn't let her mind have peace!

She remembered it vividly, and it tied her into knots!

(Insert flashback sound effect)

It was Ashoka's first command of a group of troopers all on her own. The 501st was with Anakin, but a group of 10 rookie troopers were being led by her!

Anakin believed in her, and had entrusted this group of troopers to her! She had to lead them well!

They were going west. Going to help Master Skywalker. Then Ashoka's wristcom blinked. "Yeah?" She asked into it.

"Ashoka!" Anakin's voice blared from her wristcom. "New plan! West there is a ambush. We just barely got away! The new rondavu point is to the north ill send you the coordinates!" "Got it!"

"Ok troops to the north!" Ashoka exclaimed pointing in the directoin of the new rondavu point. "Uh commander? I don't mean any disrespect, but what happened to the original plan?" One of the clones ( his name was Lin ) asked. "Lin don't question the commander she knows what she is doing!" Another trooper ( his name was sqaure ) said to Lin. "Sorry commander." Lin said. "It's fine Lin! Were changing because droids have set up a ambush to the west." Ashoka says putting on her serious but sligtly amused face.

"We should just fight through them!" A trooper named Fronter says. "Good enthusiasm Fronter! But thats at least 50 clankers against the 11 of us! Don't worry we'll get to smash some droid heads soon!"

Ashoka leads them through the thick, lush forests of Raydonia. The floor was a carpet of moss and mud. Ahsoka slapped away mosquitoes at every turn! For once she was envious of the troopers armor. "I have never seen any forest quite like this one!" Ahsoka remarked, attempting to lighten the mood. "I'd like it better if there wasn't a chance droids could jump out at us at any moment." A trooper named Shield remarked. Then out of nowhere battle droids walk in on them! "well speaking of that." Lin said.

"Hey why are you here?!" One exclaims! "Your republic!" Another says! "Yep!" Ashoka agrees! "Now heres some Republic justice!"

There are only about twice the amount of droids as troopers! Not even a challenge!

Ahsoka blocked shots back at the droids, taking down a few. But one got a lucky shot. "Commander duck!" Square yelled. Ahsoka slammed to the ground as a shot flew over her head. her arm hit the ground shattering her communicator.

But afterward there was not a single scratch on new armor. "Ha did those clankers really think they could take us?" Fronter asked?

But unknown to anyone in the group the droids that had just attacked them were meant to be destroyed, there job was to confuse them and turn them in the wrong direction!

After an hour or 2 of walking Ashoka looks around slightly confused. "We should have gotten to General Skywalker by now." She says, becoming increasingly worried.

Then from the trees droids appear! And begin shooting! 60! AT LEAST! A look of realization dawns on Ahsoka's face. 'it was a trap, within a trap!' She thought!

One clone falls followed by a second one! Ashoka grabs her sabers and begins to block shots! But theres so many! Clones are falling one by one!

"Retreat! Ill clear a path!" Ashoka yells running back the way they came slicing through droids! "Go! Go! Go!" Ashoka yells!
