It was the morning of Toosii's show.  Jaylah had spent the night with Sanaa so they could get a head start on their day.

Jaylah had wanted to get up early so she and Sanaa could go to the mall, find outfits for tonight, and get their nails done.

The alarm on Sanaa's phone resonates in the room causing both girls to slightly jump in their sleep. Neither had the strength to open their eyes, so their only response was to groan and pull their blanket over their heads.

"I don't wanna get up." Jaylah whines on the right side of Sanaa's bed. Despite waking up this early being her idea, Jaylah was far from a morning person.

The tumultuous alarm continued and Sanaa thought if she'd focused on her sleep then she'd be able to tune it out. Of course, she could reach over and shut her phone up from making that vexatious sound but the way she was laying was beyond comfortable, and moving felt wrong.

Once she discovered ignoring it was making it worse she turned over with a loud huff and stopped her alarm. The time on her phone read Eight O'clock. Rubbing her eyes she let out a yawn as she glanced over at Jaylah who was asleep.

"Jaylah wake up." Jaylah didn't move nor put in effort into getting up. "Jaylah." Sanaa yawned. She reaches behind her and grabs a pillow hitting Jaylah in her head. "Getcha ass up!"

Jaylah kicks her feet and lets out a dramatic whine before sitting up and glaring at Sanaa.

"I don't wanna get up."

"Well, that's too bad. This was your idea. And how the fuck did you manage to go back to sleep when the alarm was going off?"

"I have four younger siblings, you tend to learn to ignore shit."

The girls get up and get themselves ready for the day. They had both showered before bed so all they had to do was brush their teeth, wash their face, and get dressed.

Sanaa gave Jaylah the bathroom first while she made up the bed then proceeded to search through her closet to find an outfit. Once both girls were dressed they made their way downstairs and into Jaylah's car. It was now ten in the morning and they decided to stop for some breakfast before heading to the mall.

Jaylah allowed Sanaa to drive because she simply didn't have the energy to do so herself. They stopped at Starbucks and decide to go inside. Sanaa orders a bacon, cheddar, and egg sandwich with a tall caramel frappuccino. While Jaylah ordered a Roasted ham and swiss sandwich with a tall iced cinnamon dolce latte.

Sanaa had offered to pay for the meal and they waited off to the side for their names to be called.  When their names were called they grabbed their items and decided to sit down at a table to eat their food.

"I'm trying to think of how I want my nails," Sanaa says scrolling through images on Pinterest with one hand and holding her sandwich in the other.

"I know me too. I want something simple but cute at the same time."

"Maybe we should figure out what we're wearing, then worry about the nails. I'm thinking I wanna get some leather pants and find a top."

"All I know is I wanna wear something black because, why not."

The girls finished up their sandwiches and took their drinks to go as they headed to the mall. The mall unusually packed for a Saturday morning so finding a place to park was one hell of a challenge.

After finding a place to park they get out and make their way inside the mall. Jaylah seen a few familiar faces and greeted them and was sure to introduce Sanaa to them.
