Peso's Surprise Birthday Party gone wrong

             It was just another day in the Octopod, except it wasn't. It was the day before Peso's birthday, and all the Octonauts excluding Peso were in Professor Inkling's library planning Peso's surprise party. "Arrgh, we should make it a pirate party!" announced Kwazii. "Don't be silly Kwazii you know Peso is afraid of those things." Shellington said. "By the way, how are the Vegimals distracting Peso?" Tweak asked as she munched on a carrot while Professor Inkling glanced worriedly at his precious books. 

               Everyone froze. They had completely forgotten to tell the Vegimals to keep Peso out of the Octopod while they were planning his party. Dashi went to the wall screen and checked the cameras. Peso was walking their way right now! "Quick! Everyone pick up any book and pretend to be interested in it!" Squealed Dashi as everyone ran in all directions getting a random book here and there. Then in walked Peso.

             "Oh, there you all are! What are you doing here?" asked Peso, looking confusedly at his crewmates. It wasn't often that the Octonauts gathered in Inklings library just to read. "Uhhh, let me explain Peso me hearty! Captain! Tell Peso what we're doing!" The Captain glared at Kwazii before Inkling answered, "Oh, um, we were having a-aa-reading session!" he said. "How come I wasn't invited?" Peso asked, looking hurt. Tweak said, "Er, well, we were going to ask you to come along but erm, we forgot.".

               Peso looked relieved. "Oh, alright. I'll just take a book and read over there then." He said, smiling as he took up a book and plopped himself down in a chair. Captain Barnacles and Professor Inkling shared a nervous look before Inkling came over to Peso and gave him a thick story book to buy the other Octonauts some time to get Peso's surprise birthday party ready.

               In the HQ, everybody discussed Peso's party further. Captain Barnacles would make and give invitations, Tweak would get presents, Kwazii, Inkling, Codish and Tominow would distract Peso, the rest of the Vegimals would make the cake, and Dashi and Shellington would decorate. The meeting ended with Captain Barnacles saying, "Octonauts, let's do this!"
