Miyuki Grey
I picked tomatoes, making sure they're not rotten and are in the best condition it can be before adding it to the basket I'm carrying. I hum as I walk through the isles, now looking for herbs to use in my spells. Checking everything out, I decided to go and find a bathroom. Still humming as I walk through my way. Entering the bathroom, I placed the bag of groceries beside the sinks before looking through the mirror.
Fixing myself up, I noticed a mark in the mirror. Almost unnoticeable. "Must be a sigil or just a product of vandalism.." I muttered to myself as I reached my fingers to the mark in the mirror. The moment my fingers grazed to the mark a headache seeped in. The world began to distort, I closed my eyes in an attempt to make the headache better. Wind suddenly blew through my face, so strong that I almost lost my balance. The bandana wrap in my head got blown away through the strong wind and then it stopped. My headache is now also gone.
I opened my eyes to see the mirror still in front of me but floating and the rest are just forest. What the fuck is going on. "What the fuck? Oh my god where the fuck am I?" I screamed as panic rose in my chest, heart beating faster than they should.
The bushes suddenly moved, making my panic even stronger. I tried to run and hide but I can't move my feet as if something super glued it in place then a black wolf, a mother fucking big as hell black wolf appears. "Is this how I die? Getting stuck in the middle of nowhere and a wolf ravishing my bones and flesh? JUST WHAT DID I DO WRONG?" I screamed in frustration as the wolf kept on walking towards me.
I closed my eyes, my arms wrapping my own body as if to protect me, scared as the wolf approached my way. I heard a thump right in front of me, heart beating much faster than earlier. I opened one of my eyes to see that the wolf is just sitting in front of me, head tilted as if it's confused on why am I here. Panic started to die out as I became mesmerized by the beauty of the wolf's blue eyes that contrasted against its black fur. My eyes now fully open, heart calming down I try to walk towards it only to curse underneath my breath as I realize I can't as my feet are somehow super glued in the ground. The wolf leaned towards me and nose sniff everything around me as it smelled my scent, I reached out a hand towards it. The wolf puts its snout onto my hand making me smile. Rubbing underneath it's jaw makes the wolf lean even more.
I could suddenly feel emotions I'm not supposed to feel. Amusement, Contentment, Joy, Love(?). Probobly the wolf's or someone else is here. At least being an Empath helped me realized this wolf won't really eat me.
"Is this the Astral Plane?" I asked the wolf thinking that it is an Astral Creature. I mean, where the hell would I be if not the Astral Plane. The wolf seems to understand the question as it shook its head as if to say no to the question. Shock etched in my face before smiling even wider. "You can understand me?" I exclaimed excitedly and the wolf barked. But the excitement died as soon as I realized that this place is not the Astral Plane. "Is this still the Earth? Or another planet? Or another realm? Heaven? Hell? Oh my gods and goddesses where am I!?" I rambled and screamed in panic before squealing so hard. "Am I dead? Oh my god I still haven't finished my homework! I should have listened to- Oof" The wolf interrupted my ranting as it tackled me and licked my face. "Ughh stooop." The wolf made no effort to stop and continued to licked my face, making me laugh.
At the sound of my laugh the wolf stopped, and settled in my chest. "You're so heavy can you please move?" I asked gently as I rubbed the behind of its ear. The wolf still stayed on top of me as if hearing nothing.
The little mark in the mirror that floats above us suddenly glowed brightly. Energies raised and gathered to it, the clouds swirling above. The wolf seemed to also notice the changes as it got up and stared at the glowing mark in the mirror. I also did the same but reached out to the mark that somehow brought me to this forest. Finger almost touching the mark before I felt the wolf biting my shorts, trying to stop me.
I crouched down and rubbed its ears. "This mirror and that mark somehow brought me here, I have to get back and it seems that touching it again might do the deed." The wolf whined and it's eyes looked sad. I brought my face close to it's snout and kissed its nose. "I'm sure we'll meet again someday-" I unclasped one of my necklaces only to clasped it again around the wolf's neck. "-I'll come back for this necklace. That's a promise." Rubbing underneath it's jaw before standing up. The wolf whined but made no effort to stop me again. I look through its eyes before touching the mark that shines so brightly. "I'll try to find you again." I turned and reached toward the mirror. As my finger gets closer to the mark, a deep voice suddenly can be heard.
"And I too." I turned around to see a naked tall man, full of muscles instead of the wolf. Those same blue eyes looking through my soul. "What the-" My finger unconsciously grazed on the mark and forest's gone. Only to be replaced by the place where I used to be in, the restroom. Realization can be seen in my eyes as I look in my reflection in the mirror.
He's a werewolf. Oh Gods.
