dream stared at the doctor but he wasn't hearing a thing he was saying. his mom sat next to him.

dream wiped his eyes as a tear slipped past. the doctor offered the tissues but dream just shook his head. the doctor handed him a packet and he just looked down at it. his mother grabbed his hand and the packet of information.

then they left. they set up another appointment to start treatment before they went out to the car. as soon as dream's bum hit the seat the tears fell. he choked out a sob and covered his face with his hands, pulling his mask off of his face and throwing it on the floor.

"come here sweetheart." his mom reached over and pulled him into her arms. "it's all going to be alright."

dream calmed down for the time being as his mom drove him back to his house. sapnap was probably still at the grocery store since he texted him not that long ago.

dream just needed to be alone for a little bit.

"i'll call later and check in with you okay? dad probably will too. just remember what the doctor said about the survival rate. seventy five percent. that's good hun." his mom wiped his tears away and kissed his forehead through her mask. "get some rest okay?"

dream nodded and got out of the car. "bye mama love you."

"love you too."

dream walked up to the front door and unlocked it. the house was quiet. dream took his shoes off and walked to the kitchen. he got a bottle of water from the fridge and went to his room. he set the paper down on his desk before sitting on his bed.

he didn't know what to do. he didn't know how to tell people.

dream took a drink of his water before getting up to close his curtains. he changed out of his jeans and into some sweatpants before laying in bed. he plugged his phone in before pulling the blankets up to his chin.

he needed a nap.

"dream?" sapnap knocked on the boys bedroom door.

sapnap hesitated before opening the door. he frowned at the dark room and the boys flushed cheeks. he turned the boys fan on before quietly closing the door.

he went to his room before texting george.

something was wrong with dream.

it was still light outside when dream woke up. he pulled the blankets off of him as he was drenched in sweat. he pulled his hood off and changed into some shorts but keeping the hoodie on.

he sat in his desk chair and stared at the packet of paper before picking it up.

he turned his computer on and stood up. he sighed before opening the door.

"hey sapnap?"

he heard the kitchen sink turn off as sapnap yelled back to him. "what?"

"can you come here? i need to tell you something." dream left the door open as he sat back in his desk chair. dream bit his nail as he waited for sapnap to come up. he pulled discord up on his computer and messaged george asking if he could call right now.
