Chapter 6 - Visiting the market

3rd PERSON POV

"Good morning zodiacs !
I hope you rested well. Today you are going to be visiting the markets of Ravaryn . You can buy anything you want . Alistair is going to accompany you all. Please proceed with the breakfast ." The Queen said and left .

There were two separate tables . The girls sat on one table while the boys sat on the other.

On the girl's table

Aries : How was your night, girls?
Taurus: Umm ... Fine, I guess. I used cushions to divide the bed.
(The girls giggled )
Virgo: Mine was comfortable since I had the bed all to myself.
Leo : Really? Me too .
Gemini : Well . I couldn't sleep all night . I was too exited to do that .
Cancer : It was kinda awkward at first but I slept well .

On the boy's table

(Pisces yawns)
Sagittarius: What's up Pisces ? You look tired.
Pisces : I slept on the floor willingly. It wasn't very comfortable.
Aquarius : What a gentleman! ... I slept on the floor too but very unwillingly.
Libra : Well, my case was a bit different . I slept on the bed but woke up on the floor .
Capricorn : I slept peacefully on the bed . I can't relate to you guys . What about you Scorp?
Scorpio: It was okay . Better than Pisces for sure .

The girls and guys were walking around the local market. Due to the congested roads they could not use the royal vehicle .
Capricorn had bought some books, Taurus had bought some snacks, Leo had bought some perfumes and Virgo, Gemini and Cancer had bought some clothes.
Aquarius, on the other hand, had bought a fish as a let and names it Goldie because of the colour.

As Taurus was walking, she felt someone come started walking beside her .
She turned to see Scorpio next to her .
"I was thinking that we should buy that for you " he said while pointing towards a big teddy .
"As much as I like that idea I already have one . Maybe you should buy it for yourself....
What say Scorp ?" Taurus asked .
Scorpio had an intention of teasing Taurus but he ended up getting a nick name .

"Libra" Aquarius called out .
"Yes" Libra went to Aquarius .
"Do you think Leo will like this Keychain ? I was wondering if I should buy one for her as a peace offering." Aquarius said.
"Interesting ... Well, think she will like it . I think I should buy one too , just in case .
What did you do anyway ?" Libra asked.
"Nothing much . Just indirectly suggested her to sleep on the floor." Aquarius replied.
"Oh! Do you think that will suffice as the peace offering?" Libra asked.
"I hope so " Aquarius replied.

"Hey Aries . What did you buy?" Pisces asked Aries.
"Nothing . I don't find anything interesting here. What about you?" Aries asked.
"I bought this stuff toy of a fish." Pisces said.
"Why am I not surprised?" Aries said while giggling.
"What's up Aries?" Aries and Pisces turned to look at Gemini.
"Nothing much Gem. Pi got himself a stuff toy of a fish . What did you buy?" Aries questioned.
"Noothhinngg" Gemini lied but the huge bag in her hand have her lies away .
"You know we can see the huge bag you are holding ,right?" Pisces said.
"Ok . I'll tell you guys but don't tell others . I got gifts for everyone ." Gemini whispered.
"Really? When will I get mine?" Aries asked.
"Soon " Gemini replied.

Virgo was walking with Capricorn and Sagittarius.
"Which book did you buy, Cap?"she asked.
"It is related to the chronicles of Ravaryn." Capricorn replied.
"Oh sounds interesting! Can I read it after you finish?" Virgo asked.
"Sure" He replied.
"Hey V, why did you buy clothes? Don't we already have plenty?" Sagittarius asked.
"Girls can never have enough clothes. Besides , these are different from the ones we have ." Virgo replied.
"What did you buy Sagi? "Capricorn asked.
Sagittarius smirked and said "I bought some 'special drinks' of this place."
"And by 'special drinks' you mean alcoholic ones?" Capricorn asked.
"Exactly, don't worry I'm gonna share it with the guys" Sagittarius replied.
"Hey! What about the girls ?" Virgo asked.
"Oh ... You can also have it if you want ." Sagittarius replied after a while.

Leo was on yet another perfume shop .
"Hey Scorpio! Come here " she called out.
Scorpio frowned . He had no intention of going but went eventually .
"What? " He asked.
"What do you think of this ?"She asked him about a perfume . It was a refreshing breezy fragrance.
"It's fine " he said and walked away.
"Aww! I knew my choice is nice. I will buy this one too ." Leo said.
"Hey Leo, what do you think of this dress?" Cancer asked referring to a floral blue dress .
"Wow Cance ! It looks awesome on you " Leo responded .
"Do you think I should buy it?" Cancer asked .
"Girl, if you don't buy it then I will buy it for you " Leo said with seriousness.
Cancer chuckled .
"Ok . I guess I will buy it then"  Cancer said.

The signs shopped until evening . Gemini was holding 4 huge bags in her hand .
"Hey Gem ! Need help with those?" Taurus asked.
"Yes please." Gemini replied and gave two of them to Taurus .
"Oh! What did you buy? " Taurus asked. The bags were heavy but she didn't poin that out.
"Some things from here and there " Gemini giggled and replied.
"Here girls , let me help with those " Pieces came from behind them and took one bag from each .
"Aww !  Thanks sweetie " Gemini said.
"Welcome" Pieces said with a tint of red on his cheeks.
Taurus and Gemini laughed at his embarrassment.

All the zodiacs reached the palace at around 8 pm. They were all very exhausted.

"I'm starving " Taurus said.
"Yeah, me too " Capricorn said.
"Ok guys , let's meet up in at nine for dinner . I've got a surprise for all of you " Gemini said.
Some signs were exited while others didn't show any response.

At 9 pm

All the signs were gathered for dinner. Gemini distributed the gifts .

"First up is Aries . I got you special coffee of Ravaryn . I had a feeling that you are a coffee addict ." Gemini said.
Aries gasped.
"How did you know ? Have you been spying on me ?" Aries asked.
Gemini laughed it off but didn't reply.

"Taurus , I got you a set of bath bombs and salts of different fragrances . I hope you like it" Gemini said.
"That's amazing!! Thank you ." Taurus replied happily taking the set.
" Cancer , I got a blue hand bag for you . It will go with the floral dress that you bought " Gemini winked at Cancer.
"How did you-" Cancer didn't complete but engulfed Gemini in a hug . Gemini giggled and turned to Leo.

"For Leo I got a makeup kit along with a storage box for your perfumes" Gemini said as she handed over the box to Leo .
"Thanks Gem . You solved my problems " Leo smiled at Gemini.
Then Gemini said facing Virgo.
"This is for you Virgo . I thought it suited you ." Gemini said and handed over a beautiful journal which had a sapphire embedded in it .
"Wow! It's beautiful. Thanks ." Virgo said.

"Libra, I got these sneakers for you . Their design is very unique compared to what we have in our world ." Gemini said while passing the sneakers to Libra.

" They are cool. Thanks"  Libra said with a smile.
"Scorpio, I got you something different from others. This is a secret weapon . I saw it at a shop but I don't know how it works. I'm sure you'll figure it out." Gemini said while giving Scorpio what looked like a ball of metal with intricate designs.
"Thanks" Scorpio said with a genuine smile.

"Sag, I got you snacks" Gemini said with a mischievous smile.
Sagittarius frowned .
"Everyone got cool things things . Why am I getting snacks?" Sagittarius asked .
"Hey! What's uncool about snacks ?" Taurus asked .
"Yeah Taurus is right . Plus I got you these so you can have them with you 'special drinks' ." Gemini whispered the last part.
"Oh , I see . Thanks Gem" Sagittarius said .

"Next is Cap. I got you a collection of bookmarks . It's something you will use a lot , I suppose." Gemini said to Capricorn.
"That's thoughtful of you. Thanks Gem" Capricorn said.

Gemini smiled at Capricorn and then turned to Aquarius.

"Aqua, I got you an instant camera , you seem to have interest in photography." Gemini said.

"I actually do like photography. I missed my instant camera." Aquarius said with excitement as he took his gift which was a sky blue camera .

Then Gemini turned to Pisces and said " Pisces , I got you an constellation necklace. I don't know why but I think there is more to this locket than what meets the eye , I hope you like it."

Pisces took the silver necklace that Gemini passed him over and thanked her .

"Okay guys , let's eat now . I'm starving!!" Gemini said and walked over to the hall and everyone followed.
