A Bird and a Cat (Ryuko x Male OC, Kill la Kill x RWBY crossover)

*Jack POV*

We run after Ruby out of the forest, stepping into another series of destroyed temples as that Nevermore still follows us in the air. We spread out and it passes above us, as we hide behind some stone blocks. Nevermore lands on one of higher columns and caws

Yang: "Well, that's great!" Jaune looks behind, seeing Deathstalker bursting into the fray

Jaune: "Ah, man, run!" we leave our hiding spots, causing Nevermore to rise into the air

Ren: "Nora, distract it!"

Jack: "Ryuko, help her!"

Nora and Ryuko run out from their blocks and avoid any feathers. They get their weapons out. Nora launches some grenades from hers and Ryuko gets ready to shoot her lighting. Blue and pink sparks connect with the Grimm, causing it to retreat. They are however unaware of the Deathstalker rushing at them until Blake and Ren perform a cross-slash with their weapons against its shell. Weiss and I jump next to Nora and Ryuko. She creates a jumping platform beneath us, shooting us up only for me to create an ice slide to safely land next to our group while Ren and Blake are now targeted by the scorpion Grimm

Pyrrha: "Go, go!" she stops beside Jaune, gets out her weapon, and starts firing shots alongside Ren's until it reaches and tries to swipe, causing us to run again.

We run over the ancient stone bridge, not knowing the Nevermore is closing in on us until it uses its giant wings to shatter the path right in the middle, making Ryuko, Ruby, Weiss, Yang, Nora, and Jaune closer to the central columns, leaving me, Blake, Ren, and Pyrrha on the other side with the Deathstalker. I grab my weapon and shoot a series at it, while Ruby tries to snipe the Nevermore.

Jaune: "Man, we gotta get over there! They need help!"

Nora: "Let's do this!" Jaune looks down at the fall

Jaune: "Yeah, but, uh... I can't make that jump" Nora smiles diabolically at him, laughing as she knocks him back. She turns her weapon into a massive hammer

Jaune: "Oh, wait!" Nora slams her hammer into the bridge, throwing Jaune to the other side "No, no, no!"

Nora places one foot on the hammer and fires it off the collapsing section of the bridge, launching her to slam its face right in the center of the Death Stalker's skull. She fires it just as the stinger comes down to get her, and blasts back again to avoid its reach, accidentally knocking into Blake and making her fall from the edge. Blake sees the Nevermore above her and launches her whip so the gun's blade sinks into the edge of the bridge, circling and leaping onto the aerial Grimm's back. She dashes all over its body, slashing the entire time, before jumping off and landing on the ruined platform at the top of the columns next to Ruby, then going over to Yang, Ryuko and Weiss. I make an ice bridge to get to the other side, joining the girls too

Blake: "It's tougher than it looks!"

Yang: "Then let's hit it with everything we got!" she redies Ember Celica

Jack: "Got it" I smirk

We get our weapons out as the Nevermore approaches us, firing a barrage of bullets at the bird Grimm, which it either dodges or takes harmlessly until it crashes through the columns and platform. We leap from one section of falling stone to the next until we reach the higher bridge on top, just below the cliffs

Weiss: "None of this is working!" Ruby watches Blake whip over to another section of the area, Ryuko firing lighting from her hands, trying to hit the Grimm, me trying to freeze its wings, and Yang firing round after round at it

Ruby: "I have a plan! Cover me!" she blasts away, while we try to cover her

Yang: "Jack!"

Jack: "You got it!" We run next to each other, firing rounds at the Grimm, keeping our attention at us. "Yang!"
