Stay With Me

Jennifer's POV

I woke up and sat up. I looked around and found that I was in my bathroom. I stood up and walked downstairs. I got myself a cup of coffee and took a sip.

I turned around and saw Mikey standing there, crying. "There was something wrong. I knew it" he said.

"I didn't want you to worry, I needed you to not worry."

"Jennifer, don't go please." He said, holding onto my forearms.

"I can't stay."

"Why not? You can stay at my place."

"My mom won't let me.

"Fuck her. Your staying with me."

"Stop it Mikey, I have to go."

"No, you don't."

"Why do you want me to stay?? I have plenty of friends in a different country, we will survive. You will survive"

"I can't Jennifer. I can't." He said and took off.

I ran up to my room. I sat on my chair and I cried. I heard footsteps walk in. I looked up and saw my mother.

"I HATE YOU!" I screamed. I pushed her out of the room and locked the door. I ran into my bathroom and locked that door too.

I stood in front of my mirror. I grabbed my blade. I cut my arm repeatedly. I cried and cried.

"Why am I being so emotional??? He's just a friend...... R-right....?" I said quietly to myself.

I put my blade away and stared at the blood on my arm. I stomped out of my bathroom and opened the door to see my mom standing there. "YOU SEE THIS?!?!?" I yelled, showing her my bleeding arm. "THIS IS ALL YOU! YOU! YOU! YOU!"

She looked at me with hurtful eyes. "Hun....." She said calmly. "Pack up, we are leaving in a few hours."

"You don't even care about me."

"And clean up your arm."

"I hate you, I always have and I always will." I said and slammed the door on her face. I walked over to my bathroom and I washed my arm. I walked back into my room and I sat on my bed. I looked at my phone. 2:17pm.

I turned my phone on and first thing that popped up was a text from Mikey.

M: hey Jen.

J: hi, what's up.

M: meet me at 'our spot' in 10

Our spot?? We haven't been there in ages!
