As I try not to think about the torture that is about to occur from William, Amanda and I walk to my house . We walk up the 13 steps into my so called room. We take off our plumb full backpacks and start to study for our big test in social studies tomorrow.
Just as I start to test mandie on the time period for ancient Rome my cellphone starts singing "bang bang." I wonder who that is. I look at the caller I.D. but still don't recognize the long distance number.
"Hello?" I said kind of creeped out.
"Um... hi is this Ell?"
"Yes. Who are you exactly?" My heart is pounding rapidly because I think that I recognize the deep sexy voice from first period.
"Its William.... umm... you know there is that dance today, and um I was wondering if you would go with me."
"Of course." I can't believe this is happening! My crush just asked me out!
"Thank you. I will pick you up at seven."
