TW: teen-drinking

Tommy had managed to get Jade to the other side of the hall to get some water to neutralize her obviously drunk self. She reeked of sting liquor, and the fact that it was only 7pm made it even worse since she had to manage the rest of whatever the night had to offer; but severely drunk.

He had wondered how she had managed to get alcohol from, as the school didn't offer anything but punch, if not someone had offered her a few shots. It couldn't have been Evan, as he acted rather normally, or maybe it was Evan although he just didn't drink anything or not very much, because he seemed as sane as he could be.

"Come o-on Tommy, loosen up a bit. Let yourself have some fun!" Jade drunkenly chuckled, pushing him into the crown with her. "Let's dance." She demanded, excitedly cheering as she jumped around in front of him along with the beat of the music. He watched her awkwardly, a concerned look painted all over his face. "Join me TomTom!"

"I'd rather not, thanks though Jade." He kindly declined as she watched a pout appear on her face. "Have you eaten anything today?" She shook her head no, totally clueless. "You shouldn't be drinking on an empty stomach, y'know. Lets go get you something to eat."

"I'm fine Tommy." Dragging out the describing word that he didn't quite believe. She didn't seem fine to him, unless stumbling around unable to find balance was her definition of being okay, but he didn't think that was the case.

"Not in the long run. Just come with me, and we can dance after, okay?" He suggested. He really didn't want to be responsable for her passing out or doing anything dumb, not that it was his business, but he felt the responsibility of taking care of her, simple because she was his date after all.

She rolled her eyes but gave in, and with that they went over to the food bar, choosing a bottle of water and a sandwich to eat.

"Here." Tommy said, passing the food to her. He witnessed the crowd as she munched on the food, only to spot Evan nearby. He smiled, thinking about the fact that there was therefore a high possibility of Camomile showing up as well, but as he found his eyes searching for the brunette, he didn't see her.

"Hey, I'll be right back." Tommy stated, earning another nod from Jade as he stood up to walk towards Evan. He was dancing, but not with Camomile as Tommy had expected.

"Hey Evan! You know where Camomile is?" Tommy questioned, trying to act down to earth and chill to hide the fact that he quite obliviously hated the guy.

"No, I don't actually. Why?" Evan seemed unbothered by the question, quite the opposite of what Tommy had expected as he came off as a very overprotective partner.

"I just haven't seen her in a while. Is she okay?"

"Yeah dude she's doing good, I- I think she's hanging out with some girls from some other class." Evan stuttered unsurely over his words but Tommy just figured it was because he was currently dancing with some other guy he didn't know the name of.

"Yeah okay, good to hear. Thanks man."

"No worries." He said, but as Tommy was just about to walk back towards Jade he opened his mouth again. "Hey, blonde boy."

"Yeah?" Tommy asked, figuring it was a call from him.

"Keep your hands off of camomile, alright? Quit worrying about her, she's mine to take care of, not yours." He stated, his voice full of seriousness. Tommy was caught by surprise for a second. How come he could change moods so incredibly quickly? One second he's chill, and the other he's an ass.
