Finally finding the One..

Part 1: First encounter

Mina's Pov:

0530am: The sound of alarm wake up the sleeping penguin from her deep sleep after the tiring week of long hours duty at her hospital as a rotating resident physician..
"Ahhhh..gosh another day at another ward,I'm nervous as hell to start today,but I hope everyone will be nice to me..aish!!!!,I still have tiMe  to prepare and eat..".Mina wake up and headed for the bathroom to wash up and prepare herself for her first day at the pediatric ward.After about 30 minutes she went out full dressed on her blue scrubs and white adidas rubber shoes and carried her folded neatly ironed white coat.She headed down to the kitchen and grab some apple and readied herself with her instant coffee.."aw,the perks of living alone on my own crib,no cook meals🤨"
She looked at the time and checked its already 0630 in the morning,she still
Have time to arrive at the hospital,Mina by the way work at one of the prestigious hospitals at Seoul,she was lucky enough to have given the opportunity to work there as her Father was a well known orthopedic surgeon at the same hospital.She locked her doors and headed her way to her sports car which she has earned thru her hardwork as a doctor,and drive as fast as she can to work.
Mina arrived at the hospital and immediately went to their conference room where she was met by a bunny looking,white childish and jolly Senior resident of hers..Nayeon..
"Hey penguin!!!😊 your just in time! I was waiting for you to arrive! You look cute by the way on your blue scrubs! You ready to see your new ward??"
Nayeon said to her as she was greeted by the bunny with a slight peck on her cheeks..She was by the way known Mina since they were in college until they've become Doctors,however Nayeon is two years older than Mina,she was able to destroy whatever walls Mina has for eveyone that makes them super close with each other.Nayeon also knows Mina's background,and her first heartbreak and why she is so cold to almost all the people she met.Nayeon always and never failed to be there for Mina no matter what,and she never failed to encourage her to not stop loving,as she as the Unnie for Mina has her own love of her life,Doctor jongyeon,anesthesiologist at the said hospital.
"Aish! Doctor Nayeon,we are at work Unnie,behave yourself!😒 stop pecking me at my cheeks,people will see us and might think wrongly of you and me..and of course Unnie,I am super excited and nervous to meet the people at my new ward..I just hope they will be good to me Unnie.." Mina said to Nayeon camly and nervously..
"Of course they will be nice to you mina! Your one of the good residents I have and my favorite Dongsaeng!!! Now come on,we will be late with our ward rounds! Aja doc Mina!!!"
As they were heading to the Pediatric ward Main station to do their morning ward rounds,Mina saw from afar a cute midget that looks like a cute cub on her white scrubs that suits perfectly on her well develop body,she is at the main nurses station doing briefing with her co-nurses.As they were nearing the Nurse's station,Mina never failed to look intensely to the small cub midget standing confidently and doing her huddle to a group of five nurses,she look so cute with her dimples and her super wide smile that shows her perfectly white teeth.Mina never failed to check her out,and amused herself of how good looking this person is.As they were already at the Main station,Doctor Nayeon spoke and called the midget standing at the center of the station...
"Nurse Chaeyong..hi😊 good morning how are you? I hope everything is fine? By the way I am here with my new resident Doctor Mina who will be the in house resident doctor here for a while,she comes from another department but decided to join me here,I hope she will be welcome here with an open heart as you guys welcomed me😊" and with that Nayeon said to chaeyong as chaeyong immediately turn herself to the direction of the two doctors standing in from of her with her all smiles..
"Chaeyong..so that's her name.."Mina thought to herself,Mina was absolutely stunned to see the angelic super cute face of the midget she was eyeing since they were approaching the station.She was so shocked of the absolute beauty she is seeing,I mean Mina is also beautiful with her height and gummy smile and long soft hair and also confident with her own beauty ,but this she is seeing is like an angel that was sent down from heaven..and as for chaeyong,being the polite friendly nurse as she is,turn to Mina's direction with her perfect smiles with her perfect dimples and extended her hand to Doctor Mina who was just staring back at her with absolute perfection..
Chaeyong was waiting for the other girl to reach her hand as she greeted her but was a little bit surprised as to why the other girl was just staring back.."hi doctor mina😊😊 I am chaeyong,the clinical charge nurse of this ward,welcome to 3a,I hope you will have a fun and enjoyable time with us and our patients😊"
Nayeon..on the other hand noticed everything about chaeyong's effect on Mina and on how Mina looked at chaeyong with love in eyes after how many years of seeing the cold looks to every people she met.Nayeon smiled back silently and put back Mina on her trance as chaeyong was still all smiles to Mina waiting for the hand gesture to return back.."ehemm!! Doctor Mina..chaeyong is greeting you..😜,sorry chaeyong,doctor mina is always shy at times especially at new faces and places.."nayeon said in defense of Mina.
Mina being back on her trance,immediately took the hand of chaeyong and return the handshake and politely answered back the greeting..although at the back of Mina's mind..chaeyong is absolutely stunning and perfect beauty,and her hands was just so wow,smooth and perfect with her hands.She felt her heart literally skip a beat when chaeyong touch her hands and she feels blood rush through her body and she started to feel nervous and suddenly warm.A very vague and definite feeling she no longer felt years and years ago after her heartbreak.All of a sudden with chaeyong touch,and smiles that was directed at her,she feels strange but a positive strange feelings that she dont want to end.Mina thought to herself,the rotation might be a good thing..
And just by that simple first encounter,chaeyong and the two doctor's started the morning rounds after the briefing..
"Chaeyong is cute and perfect isn't she Mina?😊 What do you think of her? I saw how stunned you were with her.🤪 you like her dont you?😅" nayeon silently said to mina while walking behind chaeyong..Mina then replied.."unnie🤭🤭 Well i don't know,and I'm not stunned,Im just surprise and nervous afterall this is the first meeting"
Mina said in her defense..lies..as she said to herself,or what is this feeling?? Aish!! But she is really cute midget though.Mina said to herself..and with that they continue with their rounds..
