I just hung up the phone after camila and I's phone call, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in then a smile spreads across my face, I've never been so nervous to go on a phone call before.

"Who was that?" I hear, I jump up into a sitting position to see my mom

"Jesus, how long have you been there?" I ask, she smiles sitting down on my bed

"Long enough, who are you going on a date with?" Mom asked, I blush and smile lightly

"Just this girl I met at the coffee shop I work at" I say, she smiles and I knew she was happy for me, it's been a while since I been on a date.

"What is she like?" Mom asked, i shrug smiling

"I don't know, we haven't talked much, she's cute though" I say, mom nods smiling

"Is she the one who gave you the job?" Mom asked, i shook my head

"No, no she has a husband" I say with a chuckle, mom rolls her eyes

"Mom, can we not talk about this, I don't know if like...we haven't talked much and it's going to be the first date to get to know each other, so I don't even know if I like her...she's just cute" I say, mom rolls her eyes and nods.

"Fine! But you have to tell me after the date" she said, I nod

"Fine, I'll tell you some" i say, she smiles nodding

"Okay! Dinners ready" she said, I get up putting some joggers on and going downstairs

As we were talking and eating my phone went off, they all look at me and a soft smiles spreads across my face seeing the contact name.

"Hey dad" I say, he looks at me nodding

"I know that I don't have my license or anything, but I can drive, so can I please borrow the car Wednesday?" I asked, he looks at me.

"Why would you need it? I'll drive you to where you need to go" he said, I go wide eyed.

"God no, I have to drive myself" I say, he frowns and mom smiles knowing why I'll be needing the car.

"Why?" He asked, before I could say anything my mom did

"He has a date with a cute girl he met" mom said, they all look at me and I blush, they all asked several questions.

"God shut up, I'll tell you some stuff when it happened, please can I borrow the car?" I ask, he nods.

"Fine, but if you get arrested you'll be paying the fine" he said, I nod smiling

"Sure, thanks dad" I say, he nods and we carry on dinner
