Truth

(Hinata's POV)

"HINATA!!"

I jump forgetting we're outside.

"Noya?"

I jump up forgetting for a moment that I have no clue where he is. I stretch out my hands and I feel Tobio turn me in the right direction and I begin moving quicker. It feels like forever since I saw everyone. I hear a few gasps and then many hands are touching me. Suddenly I feel a little panicked not able to tell who's touching me and I back up squeezing my eyes shut and pulling my arms to my chest.

Tobio puts his arms around me from behind and lays his head on my shoulder. And I feel my pulse settling.

"It's ok, the whole team is here. I thought you might like to talk to them."

"Sorry, guys it's been a funny few days huh."

Tears started to trickle down my cheeks as I realized how much I missed everyone. I stepped forward again, hands out to find them. I'm met with small hands first and instantly know they belong to Noya.

"Noya"

"How did you know?

"Your hands are the same size as mine, anyone else would be much bigger." I laugh.

This could be fun. I manage to pick everyone out without them saying a word, thoroughly freaking them out. We all sat at the pond for a few hours catching up.

"So guys how long has this been going on?" Tanaka asked.

I tilted my head clueless. Then I realized my hand was leaning on Tobio's leg. His arm was around my back. I blushed and smiled at Tobio. Before I knew what was happening he grabbed my chin and pulled me into a kiss. One that sent my head spinning. I heard a chorus of wolf whistles. I playfully hit his chest, laughing.

"Tobio." I gasped

"Ohhh, Tobioooo" Tanaka yelled. I flicked the paper that was in my pocket in his direction and somehow I manage to hit him. We all fell about laughing.

Finally, we arrived back home. I hadn't walked about so much in days and I was tired and hungry, so we decided to order food in. My cheeks ached from smiling so much, but I had the best time. I replayed the moment in my head when Tobio said I was his boyfriend and my cheeks began to heat up. Tobio went to my room to put the bags of goodies we bought today away and I went into the kitchen and set out two plates on the worktop and two sets of chopsticks. There was a dull thud from my room. Slowly I made my way to my room.

The first thing I noticed was that the sickly sweet smell from before was back. The second thing was how quiet it was.

"Tobio....Tobio where are you?"

Nothing, no response. All the hairs on my arms and neck lifted up as I got a sour taste in my mouth. I put out my hands and started moving into my room more hoping to find him sitting on my bed. A hand touches mine but I instantly slap it off.

"Who are you? Where's my boyfriend." I spat

"Tch you don't need him, you have me."

Something is familiar with that female voice, but I can't place it. My heart is aching, where is he? I take another step in but hands shove me off balance and I fall into the bags Tobio brought into my room. I'm on my hands and knees. I realize my phone has slid out of my pocket and it hit my hand. I move my hand under the bag on my phone, I try to open the group chat that I know is down at the bottom of the screen and hit what I hope is the call button.

"What the fuck have you done to Tobio?"

I scream loudly hoping that someone on the chat was listening.

"Why are you in my room? who are you?"

"Who am I? I'm your's Shoyo."

I bat her words away with my arm. I'm getting really pissed off. Who the hell does she think she is.

"You don't get to call me that, now tell me, what did you do to my boyfriend!" I yell.

"Tobio, Tobio where are you?"

My breath catches in my throat, why can't he answer. I try to steady my breathing and listen. I'm sure I can hear shallow breathing near my window. As I take a step towards the sound I'm hit in the stomach with something hard and cold, the wind is knocked out of me as I double over holding my stomach.

"Why are you doing this to us?"

"It.. it wasn't supposed to be like this. I was supposed to be the one to save you, not HIM. I was sick of you fawning over his stupid picture all the time"

"What?"

"The firework was just to scare you, I wanted to be the one to comfort you but it.. It went off sooner than I expected, it began to burn my hands so I dropped it. I didn't think it would hit you."

Anger surges through my body as she spoke and I shakily got to my feet. This was all because of her.

"When I saw him come home with you and your family I got angry again. I wasn't about to let him have you when you were mine. I watched him comfort you, then kiss you. THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ME NOT HIM!"

"You're a crazy bitch if you think I'd ever fall for someone like you. I love him and only him. He would never put me in danger the way you did."

"Well if I can't have you no one will."

I felt the wind whip by my face as something narrowly missed me by inches. And I took my opportunity. I threw myself at her tackling her to the floor before she could swing whatever was in her hand again. I heard a clatter and was sure it was some sort of bat. Had she hit Tobio with it? We struggled on the floor, she manages to push me over and sit on top of me. I instinctively pulled my hands up to cover my face just as her fists came crashing down on the side of my arms. That was going to leave marks as she hit me again and again.

There was some scuffling and suddenly the pressure was lifted off me. Fearing she was going for whatever she dropped I hastily crawled over to where I thought Tobio was.

I let out a gasp as I felt his body. I could feel his chest rising and falling. I flung myself on top of him protecting him from the crazy girl.

"Hinata, Hinata it's Daichi it's ok. The police are here."

He puts his hand on my back and I start to sob uncontrollably.

"Tobio's ok, he just got knocked out let me help you both."

I shake Tobio and he groans. My tears fell over him.

"Why's it raining?" he asked, dazed.

I laugh as we pull him to his feet. Just then my mum comes barreling in the door. She pulls both of us into a tight hug and we both wince in pain.

Turns out the entire team heard my call, they phoned the police and headed to our rescue. We all sat in my living room while my mum brought everyone a hot chocolate. I filled Tobio and the rest in after the call was cut short. Tobio sat with his arm around me and wouldn't let me out of his sight, I wasn't complaining.

The next day the police turned up at my door with a bag of stuff she had stolen from me. A pen, notebook, photo, a shirt, and my pin that Tobio got me. They told us how she had been sneaking in through my window by using something so the lock wouldn't stick. She had been watching me sleep. I felt sick to my stomach, that's why my window was open so much.
