^^^Harry's POV^^^

I continue to read Amanda's letter, biting my lip harshly.

Why did I ever let her go in the first place?

I don't know what my feelings are. I love spending time with her, and I really liked her kisses and her hugs. I liked her smile, the way she talked. Hell, I liked everything about her.

I honestly don't know why I even dated Kendall, she wasn't even close compared to Amanda. I just never realized it. And I can't believe that I wasn't there when she first woke up. I was terrible to her.

Why did I do this to her?

I guess it is true; I'm in love with Amanda Franks. And I hope she feels the same about me, too.

I begin to grow angry at myself, taking her letter and placing it in a drawer.

I know what I have to do.

..

^^^Amanda's POV^^^

My father insisted that I attended their huddle. Saying that I know more about the soldiers than he does.

I haven't spoken a word since I've been in here. Do they expect me just to let them hurt my friends? They're wrong.

"Amanda, come on, you're going to help us!" My father says loudly, making everyone turn to look at me.

I frown. "I'm sorry, father, but I'm not helping you," I tell him lowly. "You need to get their General first! He's doing all of this to them! He's threatening everyone to do what he says!" I say louder, defending them.

My dad's face turns red. "You will tell me now! I don't care what it takes, you are our only option.' He growls.

"I'm sorry, but I lov-" I stop myself before finishing. "I'm not letting you hurt innocent people." I mutter.

"You will not speak to me like that!" His voice booms. "All because of some boy? You're doing this for him! Go." He screams. "Leave! You can go to him for all I care."

My lips tremble. "Fine," I mutter.

"Just remember this," he starts. "Your precious boy will get killed one way or another," he smirks, slamming the metal door in my face.

I go to my bunk, grabbing all of my stuff that I can fit into a single bag.

My mother stops me, examining my red face. "Where are you going?"

"I'm leaving,"

"No, you're not," she says, trying the grab my bag.

"I will," I say more harshly.

"Wait until your father hears about this," she scoffs.

"He already knows," I notice the confusion on my mothers face, urging me to continue. "He's the one who told me to leave."

"What-" I don't let her finish. I walk passed her, going out into the rainy forest one last time.

I'm not going to let him hurt Harry. I'm not going to let him hurt anyone there. Well, maybe Louis, Kendall, or General Wells...

I'm not going back to the British base, I'm not going to go anywhere. I'm just going to roam these stupid woods until I find somewhere to stop for tonight. If my dad wants me to leave, I will.

Oh, aw! What do you think?
