THE NIGHT

CHAPTER 3: THE NIGHT
Sara POV:
I was nervous to say the least and I know you're wondering, how could I be this nervous to hang out with someone? Well, it's very simple. Ava is a goddess.  I was in the kitchen finishing our dinner up when the doorbell went off. I turned everything off and quickly made my way to the door. I fixed myself in the mirror and took a deep breath before opening the door. I let my eyes run over her figure, taking in the outfit she had on. I though I was going to pass out.
Ava POV:
"Hi," I said smiling at her.  "Hey, come on in" she said, stepping aside, letting me in.  I brushed past her, swaying my hips. I stood in the foyer, waiting on her to come to me. I heard the door close then the sound of her shoes walking close to me. "You can put your bag over there" I put my bag down and she said "Let's go to the kitchen." She places her hand on the small of my back, leading me to the kitchen. The table was set which immediately surprised me because I thought we were just working. Whatever she cooked smelled amazing.  "Did you cook for me?" I asked as we walked over to the table. She pulled my chair out and I sat down.  "I did, I hope you like pasta"  "You can never go wrong with pasta" she chuckled as she went over to make our plates. She walked  back over placing them down. "This looks so delicious" My favorite meal actually.  "Do you want something to drink, if you want wine I won't tell you if you wont" she winked. "Yes please, I would love some"  "A personal favorite, 1990 Masseto." I watched as she poured our glasses before she took a seat. We picked up the wine glasses and sipped.  "Mmm. That's delicious"  "Let's eat" I took a bite. The moan I let out was probably too loud but the food was amazing. We talked all the way through dinner. Her chair ended up beside mine as we shared a piece of cake she baked. I was getting tipsy from the wine we've been drinking. We were on our second bottle. My legs were crossed and I turned towards her, trying to stay calm. My foot touched her leg. Her arm resting on the back of my chair. I leaned closely into her. Her hand came over and started rubbing against my thigh. I looked down at it before looking back up at her.  "We should probably get started on the project" I whisper out, not trusting my voice. I was so turned on. She cleared her throat "Um.. yeah we should,we can go to the office". She led me there but when we got to the door she stopped me and went inside and picked up a few things, what was she hiding from me, or was she just picking up?"
Sara POV:
I remembered I had some documents and files out that I can't let Ava see yet at least I really would like to tell her but I need to gain her trust first. I saw the documents and my back started stinging from all the scars and memories brought up from that time. I finished and I brought her in and we started working.
Ava POV: I walked in and wow is all I have to say it was truly beautiful.

We started working and we laughed and we finished the whole project and I guess we lost track of time because it was midnight when we finished, "Hey if you just want to stay here tonight that's cool with me". I decided why not, thinking back to what Nate and Zari always said "Live a little" so I texted them that I was staying here. The one time I dont have my duffle with me filled with clothes. She led me too the guest room which was so nice.

She told me if i needed anything to go to her room which was down the hall. I went to the bathroom and I jumped in the shower forgetting that I didn't have a change of clothes. I got out and wrapped a towel aoud myself and remembered I didn't have a change, I went down the hall and knocked on Saras door and she opened it and she was wearing a sports bra and pants, and I was legit in a towel.

She looked me up and down and i hard core blushed. "Hey I forgot tht I didnt have a change of clothesand I was wondering if you had anything I could borrow." She checked me out again and cleared her throat "Yeah hold on". She gave me some clothes and as I was walking out to get changed she said "if you want to watch something in here with me you can." I was freaking out inside like actually freaking out. "Yeah sure let me get changed". I went and changed and she gave me one of her hoodies and it was so warm and cozy.

I went back to her room and she was in the bed and had put a t-shirt on and she patted next to her but I was nervous so I just sat on the edge. "What do you want to watch" she asked,"um something funny", "how about the office" she replied, "YES' i was so excited. We watched an episode and the second one started and I started shivering. I got cold all the sudden. She told me "if you want to get under the covers you can". I did and after a bit i felt myself scooting closer to her until our bodies were touching, I felt my eyes becoming heavier and then sleep took over me.
Sara POV:
At the end of the second episode I look over and see Ava asleep next to me and a little snore. I wasn't sure whether or not i should get up or stay there. I started getting up to go into the guest room so she wasn't uncomfortable but she grabbed my hand and whispered "please stay" I couldn't resist it. I got back in bed and we fell asleep cuddling that night couldn't have been better.
